definitely the best street in the old town
by walking it, you can see all the major sights,
Thousands of shops, cafes, restaurants(Burger King,McD's), boutiques, and of course, at every step-exchange office

“Istanbul”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2013

If you have not been here then you have not been to Istanbul. For the tourist from one end there is the Galata bridge,Eminonu ferry terminal and Spice Bazaar. You can walk up along the tramway to the grand bazaar. All the attractions that are famous in the world and attract millions of tourists every year are within this walk.If possible stay here and enjoy the multi cultural ,multi ethnic and truly cosmopolitan city that is Istanbul.Just walking around the area gives one immense pleasure and introduces you to the delights and sounds of the ages. Many excellent hotels and restaurants are located in the area in addition to the familiar Mac,King and KFC.Enjoy.

If you are shopping for Souvenirs Walk away from the Area and Into the Sirkeci Train Station area (About 15 Min Walk) .. Every thing is 50% cheaper !!

“You will love the place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2013 via mobile

Oh it's just amazing, wonderful place to spend a relaxed evening. It's a wow experience. Have been there quite a few times and always found it to be more interesting than the last visit. The blue mosque is just amazing and in evening it's beauty is increased many times. Worth a visit!!! Your visit to Istanbul is incomplete without visiting sultanahmet!!!

“Wonderful Turkey”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2013

Loved staying and visiting in Sultanahmet District. Dont stay in the new town - too far from all the facinating things to see in Turkey. Vibrant, exciting and fun place to visit. Stay a few days
