Stayed here for 3 night with a family of 4 on an award stay. Was upgraded to a room at the Club level with access to free breakfast even though my Gold Passport Elite level (Platinum) did not automatically qualify me for free breakfast.
Service and facilities were good. Breakfast at the Club lounge was very good with a cold spread, and hot items made to order. The gym is quite modern. Restaurant 34 was good as well.
Location was convenient - about 10 minute walk to Taksim Square, and 30 minutes by walk/tram to Sultanahmet / Old City area. I pre-booked the transfer to/from the airport using Istanbul Airport Transfers - EUR 25 (TKL 60) each way.

My husband and I stayed here while attending a conference this February. The service was top notch, and the concierge very helpful. I thought the restaurant was great and ate there many times. There is a huge Homemade Turkish dessert table that was most impressive and authentic. As it was February (apparently the coldest month there) we didn't make use of the pool, but a few in our group played tennis on the outdoor courts. For the second part of our stay the hotel was booked solid so we moved across the street to the Intercontinental -- no comparison!

Had a very pleasant stay. Friendly staff, good facilities, nice location (close to Istiklal cadessi which is the main shopping hub).
The hotel is equipped with gym, spa, an outdoor swimming pool, tennis court etc. All in all, comfortable stay and good value for money.

It is a nice hotel with good location near Taksim square (around 500 meters walking) also not far from a street called "nisantasi" (it is a classy coffeeshops /restaurants &shopping area). The rooms are clean & the service is very good! Enjoy your stay! ;)

Ths hotel was lovely. Very grand with beautiful interior. Large lobby area with polite and helpful doormen, concierge and front desk staff. Security is very tight at the hotel with all cars being searched on entry and any guests/visitors having to go through a form of airport security which is somewhat comforting.
Breakfast was the best meal of the day in the hotel with a vast range of continental, European and cooked breakfast. There were lots of waiters, again who were very pleasant, but it took some time to catch their attention for small requests such as milk with your tea and ketchup etc. It was very strange that there was not a soft drink self service. Lunch and dinner was quite disappointing in terms of variety as the menu was the same for both but at the same time, I could not fault the food. There is a great restaurant just below the hotel (about 10min walk) called the Kebap with great views across the Bosphorus Staight.

The room was very comfortable and it overlooked the Bosphorus Strait. Unfortunately, it also overlooked the road. The traffic was chaos and you would often be woken by the sound of car horns and traffic. The windows were not thick enough to cut out the noise. They are also digging up the road to the side of the hotel which is adding to the traffic and frustration of the drivers.

Unfortunately, this hotel, along with the Internatnal Continental Ceyon, The Hilton and other well known chains, are all based on the outskirts of what I would call the 'hub' of the 'old' Istanbul and you don't get the same atmosphere or experience. Allow a good half an hour to get to the Blue Mosque or the Gand Bazaar from this hotel, due to traffic.

I stayed here to attend a meeting in the Taksim area and was really impressed with this hotel. My room was great, the bars and restaurants had good food and attentive service, and I had a view of the Bosphorus from my room! There was quite a bit of construction in the area, so keep that in mind, but there didn't seem to be any intrusive noise. All in all, a good experience

Stayed here for four nights. Located not far from Taksim square but it's a shame there aren't more shops and restaurants closer by. Last time I stayed in Istanbul I was on the other side of the Golden Horn and to be honest got a better experience of the city here than in Taksim. The hotel itself was very nice. My room was clean and comfortable with a fabulous bathroom. TV channels for the English were practically non existent, apart from the very dull BBC World there was only BBC entertainment, all other English speaking channels were dubbed over in Turkish. I found the door to my room completely not sound proofed and you could hear people coming and going, especially as I was located by the lifts. This meant being woken up on several occasions by inconsiderate hotel guests. This hotel is not very tall and so there are not many decent views of the Bosphorus. My room was at the back and over looked the pool which was ok. The lounge on the mezzanine level was stylish and comfy. Unfortunately from what I could discover there was only one restaurant and they had the same menu for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was a nice surprise of fresh, diverse range of foods in Buffett style. Drinks were not self service which I found quite irritating. You generally had to get the attention of one of the waiters to get a drink and there was one morning where I had to ask three times for some tea! Otherwise staff were very polite and helpful, particularly consierege.
