beautiful place to visit.
entrance fee is perfect, 10 L.
be careful while walking, the whole area is wet.
word of advise, as you walk down the entrance stairs, you will be amazed by the view, my advise, don't stand there at the entrance by the water to talk pictures, go to the back, from the other side, no one is standing there, you will get all the time to take steady shots ( the area is dim, flash light wont help you, you need tripod or to firmly grip the cam on the wood rail )

don't miss the 2 medusas heads.. you will find directions to it.

just wonderful experience, i loved it.

Thank Fares G

Our hotel suggested that we go here, and we are so happy that we did. It only took 15-20 minutes to walk through the entire thing (and we took our time). It was nice and cool, which was a relief from the hot weather. The size of the place was impressive and make sure you walk to the back to see the Medusa heads. This is definitely worth a look.

Nice place to go for a quick escape from the hot turkish sun!
Is quite dark in there but it's pretty interesting and there's lots of carp in the water!
There's also a cafe down there.

This place is cool... and Cold. It shows that the byzantine period, people already well-planned for the cistern and water irrigation.

Read about it before you go in, or take audio tour. We didn't therefore it was a quick visit without much added value.
It is a beautiful and mystical place, the background "music" made us feel like we are time travellers a bit. The greatest thing about this was the fact that it's cool temperature down there, when it's a heat on the streets above you!
The option to take pictures, dressed up in costumes like Sultan and his harem, was the most fun part of it.
Cafetaria looked lonely, and the "Medusa" heads we found funny. (We didn't know what is that and why are they there, so it was just funny to see everyone taking pictures with it, but I believe if you came prepared, you would be impressed.)
