“Not touristic”

I heard Eyup Sultan Mosque is one of the most important mosques for Muslimans. There were so many visitors but most of them were local people.

“Historical value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2014

A pretty little mosque located off an attractive plaza. It's more interesting for its historical significance (on the the Prophet's companions is buried there) than for its artistic merit.

“Peaceful Place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2014

Away from the crowded site of Sultanahmet area, this is a nice getaway.

But, I would appreciate if the information in the mosque be written also in English..

The bazaar around the small town were worth looking at!!

This is a revered place of pilgrimage for Muslims at the foot of the cemetery leading down from the Pierre Loti viewpoint.
