This is a great hotel. The service was great and helpful. I highly recommend it. The rooms were very comfortable and the view was great. It was in the heart of the city so everything was easily accesible. The food there was great as well.

we stayed there for 3 nights. it was just PERFECT! the hotel is very new, very nice rooms, amazing view from the rooftop terrasse! located in the old town, just a few meters from the blue mosque. there are a lot of good restaurants around the hotel and many shops. just 10min walk to the grand bazar.

the rooms were very clean and very comfortable. the staff was very friendly! they gave us a lot of informations about the city and about things to do there. would book this hotel again and recommand it very much!

My favorite part of this vacation was bonding with the staff, from the time we arrived until we left. OUr smiles were from ear to ear. What a delightful staff! They spoiled us, life will never be the same again ;(... Firstly, we were upgraded, just because... over breakfast, they kept asking if we want anything else. One morning,Mehmet, the owner messaged us to make sure we were okey because breakfast was almost over and we weren't at the terrace yet.. we overslept. Breakfast was over and he asked if he could fix us anything. What a wonderful caring man!
The hotel was centrally located to all the sightseeing we wanted to do. It made it very easy for us to walk around, especially i have trouble walking around for hours. It was very easy to go back to the hotel whenever we got tired and to go right out again. And each time we need something, gifts for friends, the Arasta Bazaar is just right across the street, it was PERFECT! Everything we needed was within our reach. Who needs a map, sometimes you spend time just navigating. We saved so much time not getting lost. We were less exhausted and spent no money on trams because everything was right there!
The hotel is beauuuuuuutiful! the rooms are very comfortable with glass doors that opens to sea view or the mosque. The shower is great! I loved the perfumey scent of the amenities. We love everything about this hotel, including the items/ceramics at the gift shop-fantastic selections and prices!
We can't thank you enough, Mehmet, Mami, Aydin, Nece, Fatma for our unforgettable stay. Your warm reception to us will always be remembered. Because of your people, we had the best vacation ever! We hope we will have another chance to go back to Istanbul and stay at your pristine hotel!

We were very careful to choose which hotel to stay since this is our 1st trip to Turkey/Europe. We wanted to make sure that everything would be perfect. The experience wasn't just perfect, it was beyond perfect. We stayed at the Magnaura Htl Mar 2nd for a wk. As we arrived from a long flight, we were welcomed with smiling friendly faces. We got in so early, they gave us our room right away and offered us breakfast. We were very impressed how everything was handled on our 1st day. What a beautiful hotel!!! our room was immaculate, and very very comfortable, a little larger than what we expected. Whatever we needed when we arrived, the owner, Mehmet provided them for us. He was very helpful, friendly, informative, warm, caring and professional. We got to know everyone(staff). They reminded us of our people back home. This was home away from home. It was very hard to leave, meeting new friends.
This hotel has the best location i.e. restaurants, hamam(Ayasofya), tourist spots ( Hagia Sofya, the Blue Mosque, Cistern) were all walking distance, 2-3mins away, stores/shops were just across the street, so very convenient! Mehmet even took us to the Cistern and the Blue Mosque. What a wonderful man! He took time to show us around, we know he was very very busy. We will never forget this thoughtful and caring gesture. We fell in love with these people. We will surely plan to come back and bring our friends.
We enjoyed the breakfast every morning. the food was delicious and healthy and well presented! beautiful breakfast set up!. We prefer quality food than quantity. We had seen breakfast at other places, they had more selections, but of poor quality. The terrace/breakfast room had amazing view in all corners. The room itself was very stylish, clean and modern. The whole facility was pretty amazing!
Yes, we enjoyed every minute of our stay! The staff and the owner made everything possible for us, what a great experience. We are back home now, and we surely miss everyone! We have not stopped raving about our incredible vacation to our family and friends! Cok Tesekkurler Mehmet and your staff! For anyone who is looking for a place to stay, look no more.....this is your hotel, your home away from home! Enjoy it as much as we did!

The Magnaura Palace Hotel was highly recommended by a friend after she came back from Turkey. A perfect 10 on most of the reviews how can you not? We stayed for 4nights and had the best stay. The location was perfect for tourists, conveniently located to the Blue Mosque, Arasta Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, the Ayasofya Hamam, the tram station etc.. The area was very safe even walking late at night. The best part of the stay was the staff. They were well trained and knowledgeable of the hotspots. Mehmet, the owner was always hands on helping his guests, always cheerful, helpful, friendly, courteous and professional. I love baklava and Mehmet's recommendation of the best baklava was extremely helpful ( yes, i went to ALL of them!!! Mehmet, you have to pay for my 1st tooth decay;( )
The hotel is pristine, the decor fun, moderne, elegant!!! the rooms were very comfortable..although modern, it still gives you a warm and very relaxing feeling. Everything so SOOOO CLEAN!!!
The breakfast were more than fulfilling, delicious and plentiful! the ambiance was great, colorful furniture, it just brightens the room. The terrace is glass enclosed giving you an excellent view of the water, the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia.
My friends and I enjoyed our stay immensely. 4nights at the Magnaura was too short. We wished we had stayed here longer than we had planned. We will definitely come back to Istanbul, what a wonderful city, wonderful warm people, amazing food!
To Mehmet, we thank you for the outstanding service, we will be back soon! See you again!

This hotel is situated very close to Hagia Sofia , Blue Mosque ,Basilica Cistern and Topkapi Palace. Rooms are not to large but clean and nicely decorated some noise is coming thru the walls from neighbors. Don't plan to watch TV other that turkis channels and for breakfast you better wander the streets to look for other options because what they offer is pretty bla. If you want some turkis tea order chai otherwise you'll get some Lipton . Staff is friendly how long you keep them happy with some tips but that the custom in Turkey everybody is expecting you to give them some money.

Room Tip: Don't go on the third floor breakfast is served above and you will wake up at 7:30 in the mornin...

This hotel could not be in a more perfect spot for visiting the main attractions in The old city.
It is spotlessly clean, run by a fantastic team of people who can't do enough for you and we were very pleased with our room. We had a corner room, as did our friends. It was large and well furnished and the view was brilliant. The bathroom only had a power shower but that suited us.
You can walk to virtually everywhere but the tram stop is really close by. There are lots of restaurants nearby, too many to choose from.! If I had to make one slightly negative comment, it would be this. The two streets on which the hotel is positioned are somewhat dilapidated. Roman remains have been unearthed nearby, so there are hoardings erected opposite.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are quite large. Ask for a mattress topper if you find the bed too firm for you.
