Excellent hotel with friendly helpful staff, clean comfortable large rooms, and top class food.
I stayed for one week on business and I am very glad to have stayed at this hotel.
It is in a side street but it is only a very short walk from the main road and the side street is not intimidating at all.
I strongly recommend a stay in this hotel.

My wife and I have just returned from a week's stay in the ArtDeco and the first thing that I would like to say is that those reviews which are negative about the location are not really very fair. Yes,.the hotel is in a side street but it is only about 50mts from the busy and bustling main road. On that main road you will find a variety of shops and cafes and easy access to public transport,
The rooms are very spacious and have everything that you would expect from a good four star hotel. Breakfast is a generous buffet, catering for all tastes with a wide variety of food on offer.
The staff are all very courteous and cheerful and nothing was too much trouble for them in dealing with guests.
Room rates are very competitive for a hotel of this quality and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good Istanbul hotel which won't break the bank.

Room Tip: Buy an Istanbul travel card which is good value for use on metro, trams,buses,funicular.and ferries.

I was on a business trip there for two days.

I think this hotel has a very good pricing, good and clean rooms and very nice staff. I forgot my tie, asked the guy at the reception and he immediately offered me his own tie. I can very much recommend staying in this hotel.

We attended in September 2012 and stayed for a long weekend to attend a good friends wedding. We got a bus from the airport then got off at the nearest station tried to walk and find the hotel but nobody knew of it. We then decided to jump in a taxi. The taxi had no idea where he was going it took us ages to find the hotel he asked several taxi drivers and he drove like a complete nutter! Finally found the hotel which was up a side road which was having some construction so basically looked like a dirt track and didnt feel safe. Overall the hotel was beautiful gorgeous design and the room was very spacious. There was even a jacuzzi bath. One of the staff was very friendly always made the effort to talk to us and organised taxi's for us. You need to get a taxi to the main part of istanbul it can be expensive unless theres 4 of you. Theres not much around this hotel only a few shops. Better to get a taxi and go to the main part of istanbul which is about 10-15minutes away or the metro is very easy and right next to the hotel. The hotel is beautiful and clean so it is ideal if you dont want to stay central to the hussle and bussle of the city.

This is a very beautiful hotel, with beautiful large rooms, nicely decorated breakfast room and really good price!
However, there are few disappointing facts:
-hotel is two minutes away from the metro station, which is very convenient, still it is very far away from center of the city (Taksim), so maybe it is better to pay little bit more and not waste time traveling that far;
-swimming pool is very pretty, however very small (doesn't look like that on pictures);
- I was so disappointed with the staff working at the reception who spoke very bad English, didn't understand most of the staff we asked them, and the worst of all they tried to cheat on us by listing many things/services on the hotel bill which we never used. After long conversation, they admitted the mistake, but were very rude.
I would here like to say that the kitchen staff on the other hand were very polite, but didn't speak any English either.
I would recommend this hotel as it is very beautiful, still check your hotel bill before you pay and ask for the listing.
