Close to all major attractions. Clean and comfortable rooms. I had fresh Turkish tea anytime I asked for. Kind and helpful staff. ( Ferhad,Kubra and Serdars) Breakfast was so delicious. It is really obvious that this hotel focuses on personal follow-up. Will be back soon.

Room Tip: Book Bosphorus View Rooms that are located on higher floors.

We stayed here for 6 nights middle of November, and like most people, made our choice based on the good reviews. The hotel room, amenities etc are good, though rooms are a little on the small side, but the service is outstanding! From the moment we arrived, someone was waiting outside the hotel for us and took our bags in. Although we arrived about 8.30am, our room was already ready and they even offered us breakfast right away. Erdem, the hotel owner, happily and readily briefed us about the hotel's location, how to get to the major tourist areas and even lent us a travel card which made travelling by public transport easy and cheaper. Every staff at the hotel was always cheerful, helpful and very sincere, including the cook!
The hotel's location couldn't be better. Walking to major tourist attractions took about 10-15 minutes; There was a tram stop no more than a 3 minute walk away; the ferry piers were about a 6-7 minute walk away; a new subway station (Serkeci) is literally just behind/next to the hotel - where you can take the Mamaray directly to the Asian side, if you prefer this to the ferry. We took one of the rooms on the higher floors so on clear days we had fantastic views of where the Bosphorus, Goldern Horn and Mamara Sea meet. Because the hotel is located just off a mainroad, it is very quiet at night, compared to hotels which face the tramway which I believe get noise disturbances. Many good restaurants, pharmacies, convenience shops, etc just around the corner as well. The bathroom is comparatively spacious, and the water pressure is really good. Some basic toiletries are provided as well.
Perhaps the only downside I can think of is that the lighting in the room is very dim at night, and three people in the room might be quite a squeeze. Just enough for two.

Room Tip: We took the 'Bosphorus View' room on the 5th floor. There is a bit of space was just enough...

We stayed in this hotel 14-20 Nov. for 6 nights. We chose the hotel based on previous excellent reviews and we were not disappointed on any front! It's a lovely little hotel and perfectly positioned for all the major sights in Istanbul. It's 1 minute stroll to the tram network which is the best way to get around in Istanbul. The best restaurants and bars are located in a walking distance to this hotel like Imbat, Pasazade, Neyzade, Red river pub, Cafe mese, Hafiz Mustafa , ...
The rooms are very very clean, silent and nice decorated.
But best of all was the hotel staff. It's really great when you stay somewhere and they value their guests. They try to help you in any way with smiling faces.Their kindness is beyond your imagination for sure! In the last days a bad accident happened to my friend. But they made me feel like my family are beside me to solve the problem. I'll never forget that. I have stayed in 5 star hotels that have not come close to the 5 star treatment we got at the Elanaz Hotel.Don't bother with the more expensive ones. This is great value for money if all you want to do in Istanbul is see the sights and stay in a comfortable and perfectly adequate hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel and on future trips to Istanbul I won't think of trying anywhere else. Thanks everyone at Elanaz :)

Utmost hospitality. You cannot beat the value this hotel provides. Five star service, comfortable rooms and great location makes for a wonderful experience. We loved the homemade treats the cook provided at breakfast and the drinks bar that included coffee drinks was well used by all of our party. If you can, book the sea view rooms. Sunrises and sunsets are spectacular.

I can't begin to describe the wonderful stay we had at this lovely new hotel. First, the location was perfect. it is in the heart of the historic district but just a little ways from the crazy crowds around the Topaki Palace yet close enough to walk. We indeed walked almost everywhere. We could easily walk to either the Palace or across the Galata Bridge. The hotel itself is new and beautifully appointed. It is not a budget hotel but is also not a luxury hotel. To my mind, the perfect combination of value and comfort. We had the most budget of rooms and loved it. Also, the lovely breakfast of Turkish goodies. Indeed, the value was firstrate. A quality product for a fair price. What puts this hotel way over the top is the staff. First, the owner, Heg, is an amazing person who is gracious, professional, and offers wonderful travel tips as well as insights into Turkish culture. His first rate staff of Ferhat (the terrific assistant manager), Nurcan (Ferhat's assistant), Serdar (the lovely young woman reservationist), and Kubra (the delightful breakfast manager) took his lead. Everyone made us feel right at home and offered great ideas on what to do. Words cannot describe the gracious hospitality and professionalism of this first rate hotel. No wonder it is at the very top of the list of hotels in Istanbul. Thank you Elanaz and all its wonderful people for such a memorable stay. If you stay here, take advantage of Her and Ferhat's suggestions and take some time to talk to them about their life and thoughts as citizens of Istanbul.

Room Tip: I thought the budget room on floor two was just great. Beautiful bathroom and lovely room that was...

Considered all details in a flowless and smart way. Thanks for friendly and smiley stuff. It's a passion for us in Bosphorus. Comfortable and clean rooms with seaview are quite romantic and refreshing.
