Great location (near a tram stop and the main sights), modern and clean rooms (wood floor, tv, air conditioning, hot water), tasty breakfast and VERY VERY helpful staff. Would go again, really recommend it.

The hotel was great. The staff was very helpful and polite, advising and answering the questions. The location is good, not far from the tram stop and quick to go on foot to main sights -Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque etc.The problem is to carry heavy bags, since the hotel is downhill, but anyway it is close to the road and the way doesn't take a lot of time.
The place for having breakfast had a really beautiful sea view! And the food itself was very tasty and fresh and there was a good choice, also for vegetarians.
The room was very nice, clean and well heated in winter.
IWould definitely come back there again.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are nice.

The hotel is conveniently located near the main sights (we pretty much walked everywhere) and is very close to the Grand Bazaar tram stop (you get off there and walk down about 4 blocks).

The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful, and their tips and recommendations made the experience even better.

Although you must walk uphill on your way up to the tram stop, it is a great opportunity to burn all the calories you will eat while in Istanbul, the food is amazing!

Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and found it very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and could not do enough to please my wife and I. The breakfast is buffet style and very plentiful, which is served on the roof terrace with spectacular views of the Marmara Sea. There is a steep hill from the hotel to the Metro stop which could prove a problem if you are not very good on your feet.
The Metro system is fantastic which you can use to visit most of Istanbul. By 2019 there will be more than 400 kilometers of rail track. The latest will be going 60 meters underground under the Bospherous.
In the hotel the best rooms end 01. For instance our room was 501 and had spectacular views. In the room were Tea?Coffee facilities which was a real plus. I would certainly recommend this hotel.
A boat trip is the best way to see Istanbul and a visit to Piere Lotti Hill is a must.

Room Tip: 501 which faces the sea

Firstly I would like to say the staff in this hotel are brilliant speak English and always ready to help
the rooms are a good size modern and clean with good bathrooms and hot showers.Breakfast on the roof terrace is buffet style and fresh and tasty.Top marks so far......BUT......our room 403 shared a party wall with the shoe making factory next door,so tapping scrapping and radio music spoilt any relaxation time we had,one evening we stayed in as sight seeing is tiring,we waited till 10 to report the noise to reception ,they came and checked the noise in the room and after contacting next door it finally went quiet at 11pm. we asked to move on day 3 and on day 5 was given room 501 which was so different so for 2 days at least our few hours chilling time were peaceful.so any room ending in a 3 is a problem
then the hill from the hotel to the tram station and bazzar is up a very steep hill,we are fit folk and the first few days it was a little difficult to get up it.Also coming back at night in the dark it is a little isolated however Istanbul is a fantastic city and this is a nice hotel

Room Tip: nothing ending in a 3

We stayed for one night before flying from Istanbul and were very impressed with the hotel and especially the staff. we arrived in Istanbul from our bus at 6am and the receptionist did his best to make us feel very welcome and stored our cases and let us go up and sit in the cozy roof terrace for coffee while breakfast was being prepared. He said he would find us a room as soon as someone booked out to save us waiting till 1pm. We sat watching the sun rise from the amazing terrace. Breakfast is fantastic and very freshly prepared and varied with all kinds of fruit and is Turkish buffet style. We were given a map and everything we asked was explained patiently to us and we were able to find all the sites easily from the map. The hotel is clean and modern and the beds are extremely comfortable. We are already planning a longer trip next spring and will certainly stay at this hotel. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: I will definitely stay on the fifth floor for the views and it is quieter.

I enjoyed my time in Sayeban hotel in September. The hotel is excellent.Stayed in a fifth floor room with a seaview. The room was comfortable, had a large double bed,TV,minibar and was very clean. The floor terrace view is amazingTthe breakfast was serving on terrace and had an excellent selection of Turkish meal. One of the best breakfast buffet I've seen in Turkey. The hotel stuff were very kind and helpful.Even if checking into the room is after 12:00,and i came earlier they served me a breakfast, they took my car to wash and found me free parking place. Also they gave me great recommendations where to eat,and what to see in Istanbul.Next time when I visit Istanbul, will choose this hotel again.Great place, great location, great value and great stuff.
