Even if i do not eat meat, i ordered the eggplant kebab which had 3 small lamb meatballs (i did not know) - it was excellent. :)
Not only he eggplant kebab, but everything! :)
The serving had no issues, what we ordered was delivered on aprox 10 min.
The price is unbeatable - cheapest price we found in Istanbul:
- 2 lentil soups (of course), 1 eggplant kebab, 1 mediteranean chicken salad, 1 french fries, 2 turkish coffees, 2 waters
TOTAL: 42 turkish lira.
The location would be the only minus, but no issue!

WE were tired from day of walking and were looking for a place nearby and our hotel recommended this place.
The restaurant looked small and unimpressive. Their menu has only a few items.
When the food came we were very surprised at the large quantity and it was delicious. We tried the mixed grill platter and it was awesome.
The biggest surprise was the bill, it was so reasonable.
We enjoyed it so much that we ate there the next day.
It is a good family run business,
We highlty recommend it

We came here to eat on a night that we were tired of walking. Since the place is right across the street from our hotel we decided to try it and what a joy it was. It's a small family cafe but the food is amazing. The portions are very nice and the price is way reasonable. Don't go to fancy restaurants in Istanbul, have the whole experience. Must come here.

This is an excellent value little family restaurant in the old Sultanamat area with friendly service and great smoky flavoured shish kebabs. The mixed plate of lamb, beef & chicken was delicious. I thoroughly recommend this place to all looking for a no nonsence home cooked meal without all the trimmings.

We were only in Istanbul for 4 days, but from our limited sample size this has to be the best meal we have had. We even went back for a second time on our last day. It is that good!

Everything we have ordered were good - mixed kebab, aubergine, chicken wraps, wings, salad, baklava etc.

The location looks like it is a little bit out of the way, but in fact, it's a 5 mins walk from Blue Mosque and 2 mins walk from Little Aya Sofia. So just make your way there and you will not regret it!
