n Sulthanamet near Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and not far from Grand Bazaar, this is a great location! The view from the top floor is stunning and it is quite peaceful to sit and look over this thriving city. The rooms are small but this is not a problem cause they have enough room for 2 luggages plus the quite spacious closet.

Room Tip: choose rooms to 6th floor

Perfect location, 2 min walk from Blue Mosque and everything. Friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in a room with balcony on top floor, had great view. Would definitely come back here if travel to Istanbul again.

Room Tip: Rooms on top floor with balcony.

During a recent short trip to Istanbul I was very unfortunate to have a heart attack on the first night. The response from the staff at the Burckin Suites was remarkable. They couldn't do enough to help my wife while I was in hospital or during the extended stay we had as I was unable to fly home. The hotel was fully booked but they advised us not to worry as they would re-arrange their bookings to make sure we did not have to move. The hotel is in a perfect location for touring all the sights in Sultanahmet and I will be returning here when I am fit and well to do so as all the major sights are in easy walking distance from the hotel. I have stayed in larger hotel rooms but as I spent up to 20 hours a day in the room due to my circumstances without any problems I don't think this is an issue. The breakfast was the best I have had in several visits to Turkey with a very large choice of continental breakfast. The hotel restaurant on the roof was closed at this time of year but would be worth a visit in the summer season for the views over the city. There are many restaurants within a short walk of the hotel and a very decent tram service is only a short walk away. Again I cannot praise the staff of this hotel highly enough for the exceptional service they provided my wife and I.

The staff completely make this place. Hassan, the maitrede, was unbelievably gracious and helpful. When they found out it was my birthday they left a card on my bed with a fruit plate and a bottle of wine - which was an incredibly unecessary and sweet gesture. The value is unbelievable. Location is amazing. Heartily recommeded.

In Sulthanamet near Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and not far from Grand Bazaar, this is a great location! The view from the top floor is stunning and it is quite peaceful to sit and look over this thriving city.

The rooms are small, the bathrooms and sinks even smaller, you need an engineering degree to use the shower or water will be all over the bathroom. The hallway lights are on motion detectors, which are good in theory, however turn off every 10 seconds (I clocked it), it is very dangerous and inconvenient when trying to find your key or open the door. The carpeting on the floor is a land-mine and you can easily fall, there is no grip to it. This hotel has no sound proofing and you hear everything, bring ear plugs!! There is hardly any counter space to put anything in the bathroom and also in the rooms, if you are at all claustrophobic, this might not be the hotel for you. Not "American", very European. Bed hard as a rock, if you like that, I don't.

Breakfast is delicious, staff is helpful and friendly, I felt safe and also my were completely valuables were safe. However, use common sense and stash your stuff.

Room was on the second floor, I would think a higher floor might provide a better view, we looked at a parking lot, not enjoyable, but we were out most of the day anyway.

a decent hotel in a great location. Rooms are small but beds are really comfortable. Before I booked though i was told that I will be receiving free shuttle because i was staying for 7 nights however at checkout they requested 55 euros so it left a sour taste.

However the breakfast was free and decent (to many chesses options) and for the price its not bad. View was OK from our room, however the place had a elegant feeling.

Excellent location, this hotel is near all the main attractions and if like me your hunting for fabrics and rugs you are right where you need to be. The staff were extremely helpful and the rooms were clean and had everything you needed. The view from our room was of the Blue Mosque and on the roof you get an amazing view of the city especially at night. Everywhere was accessible by foot, even if you want to go over the bridge across the horn. The trams are easy if you get tired and stop just up the road from the hotel. A beautiful city was made even more impressive by the standard of the hotel. Only one slight grumble if the calling to the prayer doesn't wake you up the other guests might - the doors do make a noise when they shut!.
