“A great view!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2012

This hotel it is very well located, when I say this I mean is in Sulthanamet near Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and not far from Grand Bazar. On the roof it is amazing the view, really beatifull.
However it has several problems, in morning each person that goes to breakfast and close the door will wake up everybody. It is unbelived the noise. The first night they gave us a room and in bathroom we had problems with the bath that did not close well. The floor was all full of water.
In the first morning I saw people in several hotels near us eating outside on the roof terrace, the weather was not like in August but it was possible to eat. They did not arrange nothing outside execusing on the fact that the time could change.
We felt deceived.

We stayed at the Burckin Suites hotel for four nights. The staff was very helpful in getting us tickets for local events. We enjoyed the breakfasts on the roof where we could see all of Istanbul. The location was fabulous. We were within walking distance of all the attractions. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Istanbul.

Hotel Just locate in a perfect location in Sultanahmet district. Staffs are helpful and very nice. Top roof bar has a great view of Ayasophia and Blue Mosque, awesome to have a breakfast with it every morning.~
Stay in Sultanahmet district you have no need worry about the night bus to Otogar station. All the local travel agent can provide you a free transfer to Otogar!! Very helpful.

We stayed in this hotel both on arrival to Istanbul for 5 days and, after side trips, again before departure for several days. It has great staff, always friendly, helpful, and smiling, no matter what shift or function in the hotel. We especially have to thank manager Hassan and (big) Tuna (not sure of spelling) for making the stay especially nice. In short all of the staff were great. When we asked how to get to a certain location, Hassan said I am off duty now and actually took us to the place. I have never had that experience before. Truly fantastic.
The hotel in terms of location could not be better. Quiet at night for sleeping. All the major attractions are very close. If you want to take a tour the hotel staff makes that and any other arrangements effortless. The rooms are small but very clean and nice, and some rooms have great views of the Blue Mosque and Sophia.
In short, great hotel, great staff, great location.

Stayed for 3 nights last week at the hotel.Location is superb! Walking distance to Blue Mosque,Hagia Sophia,Basilica Cistern,Topkapi Palace & The Grand Bazaar. The Tramp line is just a half block down it will take you to Galata Tower and Bosphorus cruise pier. On my arrival at the main entrance the bell boy was very quick to notice me and quick too in handling my luggage. The front office manager was very professional in handling my check in and the staffs speak english perfectly. The room was just fine, clean and adequate for solo traveler like me.Complete with amenities. The breakfast was a let down probably i am not used to turkish selections. The view from the roof deck was amazing during evening and Mr.Murat the Bar Captain is always around to mix your favorite drinks for the night.Have a chat with him as he's ever willing to share a few tips on getting around. To Murat & ilhan a.k.a Marlon Brando lol!many thanks for making my trip memorable & also not forgetting Mr.Hassan the front office manager and the rest of the Burckin staffs keep up the good service!

The Hotel is within easy walking distance of all the attractions in the sultanahmet district and has a lovely roof terrace with great views.
The staff are very helpful and accommodating and can provide good information with regards to the city and sightseeing options.

Rooms are stylish but small

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four nights in October. We were very excited as the hotel got great reviews and great location. The location was very convenient, walking distance to all major sites. When we arrived the manager was smoking out front as we hauled our bags down the steps. Bell boy was nice enough and quickly helped us with our bags. Our room was very small but clean and sufficient. The first night my husband broke out in a rash. We hoped it was nothing. His rash got better during the day but worsened the second night. He couldn't sleep. Finally early in the morning he went down to the front desk and showed the night manager his rash. Instead of being empathetic he was asked why he didn't say anything. We requested to be moved to a different room. Finally we were moved. They said the rash was result of "mosquitoes" in the room. The new room was fine and miraculously my husband's rash disappeared. No one greets you at breakfast. Breakfast was OK but make sure you get there early as they didn't refill anything after a certain time. When we checked out the night manager was chipper enough but didn't ask how our stay was or if we needed anyone to help us with our bags. We hauled our three bags up the flight of stairs ourselves and a relief to leave. I guess they get lots of tourists so they don't really care how your stay is.
