“Little jewel!”
Reviewed April 18, 2013 via mobile

Be greeted with a smile by owners Murat-Bora-Murat (any of the three a charming person), then offered tea or coffee while listening to a LP from a very good jukebox collection and then dive into their modern and comfortable rooms (due to our travel arrangements we stayed in three, all a charm). These team will make your visit really pleasant. And if you don't mind the kitty that lives there or walking 30 minutes to get to Sulthanamet you ate set. Specially if you want to have a good meal in nearby Restaurants packed by locals. Great place!

The hotel is situated in a nice area near Taksim Square. Is an old building carefully renovated by his owner, a super kind and friendly Turkish man that made us feel at home for the 24 hrs that we stayed there. There is nothing fantastic about the hotel it self in fact the rooms are quite basic, but the owner and his stuff makes a huge difference. They are extremely polite and helpful. They are full of advices and ready to evacuate any question or get any problem sorted that u may have.
He let as do a very late check out since our flight was in the afternoon. He organized restaurants reservations for us, transfers and greet us with extra cold beers and some gifts.
I absolutely recommend this place for a shot city break in Istanbul.

Room Tip: The front room in the lower floor are quite noisy.

I didn'tknow what to expect and was really satisfied about everything: the place, the ambiance, the breakfest (it was just perfect!) And not to miss the exceptional staff: Borat and Murat who were always there to answer questions. Thanks again for sharing your home made bread Borat and Murat for the help finding a place;-)

Having read all those positive comments on tripadvisor and the video on their homepage, we expected a lot from the Peradays.....and they exceeded all our expectations.

The hotel is located perfect for a trip to Istanbul. A shopping street, the Bosporus, nice cafes and restaurants and a great view over the old town is very nearby.

Our room was very cute, had everything we needed and was very clean. Due to the traffic on the street it was rather noisy (only) when the window was open...but in case you need it there is an A/C. For us it was no problem.

The breakfast was very delicious, fresh and home made...everything you need!

And now the best: The three guys who own and manage this hotel gave us the feeling of being most welcome and almost "at home". With there engagement and their passion they make their hotel unique. Thank your very much for the pleasure having met you!

Room Tip: the rooms to the street have a nice view and are sunny but if you open the window a rather noisy...t...

On a crowded Easter Weekend, the Peradays was the perfect hideaway place from the loud and bustling city life. We spent five quiet nights in this tiny but affectionately renovated old town house. The ambiance, produced by the three owners, their naughty cat and their original record player was familiar and they never got tired of providing directions, recommendations, historical and contemporary facts, or even another cup of tea or Turkish coffee. Oh, and did I mention the delicious 3-course breakfast?

After reading all the positive feedbacks from other guests, honestly, I expected more. A couple of + & - I would like to share:
Location:
+: 3 min walk from the main pedestrian street; shop just around a corner
-: the surrounding is awful; 3 min (but in other direction) and you can easily pick up a prostitute and see all other not really pleasant things
Rooms:
+: big bed; terrace
-: very small rooms; bathroom put as a cubicle in the middle; not enough wardrobes; awful view; was very cold in February; owners over did it with rustic design- it ended up looking as unfinished; rather noise- you can easily hear voices from reception area, especialy if someone was coming late in the evening
Service:
+: very kind; helpful; genuine; interested; excelent breakfast, though without fruits

We spent 4 wonderful days in Istanbul and our stay in Peradays was definitely one of the reasons why we enjoyed Istanbul so much. Beginning from the pick-up service at the airport Peradays offers much more than a usual hotel. The warm, friendly but also authentic atmosphere in Peradays make you feel like being a guest in a friend's home rather than being a tourist. We very much enjoyed the little talks with the three hosts of Peradays while drinking tea, Turkish coffee or beer. They gave us helpful hints and insights into Istanbul and Turkey. A further highlight of Peradays is the breakfast - served at the table with various styles of scrambled eggs, pancakes, biskuites, fresh orange juice and other goodies. The location of Peradays, only a stone's throw away from a number of resturants, clubs and last but not least directly next to Istiklal is a valuable add-on for your Istanbul trip. The rooms are clean and appealing and we appreciated to have always a bottle of water in the room.
