badabing hostel is located right next to the harbour in a lovely neighborhood. The rooms are really nice.always clean and cheap with 10 euro per night. There is nothing to complain about. The stuff is extremly friendly .They will always try to help you and give you good tips for sight seeing etc.You can talk to them when ever you want because they all can speak english very well and the hostel is open 24hours.It was also fun to talk with them to share different point of views in culture. You will learn some turkish words and get to know turkey and istanbul from a personal point of view. There is no problem when you come really late back at home.if you want to relax you can drink a beer at the terrasse or enjoy a good breakfast in the sun. Its also possible to cook in the kitchen for example a fresh fish from the nearby market.from badabing its not far away to the galata quarter which is such a wonderful neighborhood with its tiny roads and houses. All in all it was great to stay here and we would always come back.peace the 104boys from berlin

I have been at Bada Bing Hostel with my friends for 3 days and we really liked the atmosphere. The staff was so helpful and the suggestions was so reliable. And the location of the hostel is perfect. you can go every touristic site by walking just in 15 minus. Totally recommended.

Pros:
Good, cheap hostel (only $10 a night, at cheapest) that is still close to attractions. Short walk to the bridge that leads to Sultahnamet, where most travellers will spend most of their time.
Front desk spoke good English and were helpful
Lockers had plenty of space
Roof was nice
Bathrooms and showers were surprisingly nice

So-so:
Breakfast was interesting, but a bit meh.
Wifi was a bit slow, but OK

Cons:
10% charge if you pay by credit card. Make sure you exchange enough cash before you get there!
Beds made banging noises if you shifted around (hard to explain, but trust me)
Some beds had awkward gaps between edge of bed and wall. Top bunk beds had no railings or protection from falling off
2 outlets for 8 person dorm. Bring a power strip.
Towel, soap, locks for lockers not provided (though you can rent towels)
Not too much located right next to hostel. 10 minute walk to bridge or metro

Stayed here for 2 nights in the private rooms, everything was very clean and Ali at the front desk was very helpful. The Hostel is walking distance from Taksim Square and you can go to the New and Blue Mosques from there as well. Free Wifi! All in all, we had a great experience.

I spent 5 nights at Bada Bing Hostel and they couldn't be any better. First of all I was received in a very friendly way from the staff, getting offered some tee and the possibility to sit down and rest until I could check in. Throughout the days the staff always kept offering their help for many different things you might need. Being in a big city and not being able to speak the language, this was a great support. The atmosphere in the rooms was also very friendly, there is a common room downstairs and another one in the top floor with a nice terrace. During these days in november one common room was where people met to party (or pre-party) and the other one had a more calmed atmosphere. The hostel was very very clean and the location was perfect, a walkable distance from many interesting parts of the city, giving you the chance to see smaller streets on your way there. Some of us had difficulties finding it, but it is easy if you get to the tram stop "Tophane" and if you have the name of the hostel and the exact address written down you can ask people in the stores close to it. They will all know where it is.

Located in a dead end street, the hostel has a perfect parking for motorbike travelers, price is fair, the staff are very friendly and the environment is great, very hostelish, I just think that the rooms are too narrow, if you have just a backpack is fine, more that this, you will be struggle to have your things organized.
Breakfast is very basic and very turkish, don't expect too much, but is better than only coffee and toasts as most of the hostels.
Room corridors are covered with carpet which it not very hygienic, the carpet area next to the bathrooms for example is disgusting. It should be covered with some other kind of material, like vinil, wood or ceramic, easier to keep tide and clean.
The location is perfect, walkable to the main must see sights!
It has a relaxing area at the top floor! Unfortunately I didn't have time to enjoy it.
There are a travel agency connected with the hostel which is very handy to organize tours to everywhere!
