Wonderful staff, modern interior design, a magical view of the Bosphorus, fantastic SPG recognition, nice spa, good food - just perfect.
The only drawback is the distance from the center, but the hotel is so good that you virtually have no desire to get out of it. I certainly want to go back.More
I spent 3 nights at Le Meridien Istanbul and I only have great things to say about this hotel. Upon checking, I was upgraded to an executive room which might have been due to my SPG Gold Status.. The hotel and the room was very modern with all the amenities one can expect in a business hotel. The hotel was also conveniently located for my business meetings.. The breakfast had a very good selection but was on slightly expensive side (69 TL). The spa and wellness facilities at this hotel were amazing, including a Turkish hamam with separate areas for men and women. I would certainly recommend this hotel..

This hotel fit our needs b/c we had already spent 5 days in the historical parts of Istanbul. Our suite was beautiful and overlooked the bosphorous and bridge. Nighttime views were spectacular. The gym was beautiful as were the outdoor and indoor pools.
It is a bit far from the sightseeing places but provided an excellent place for us to explore the other areas of Istanbul that we hadn't seen such as the Asian side, etc.
Very chic and modern, concierge lounge was excellent. The elevators are very cool as well.

This was out second trip to Istanbul, and as we had previously stayed at the w hotel, we wanted a different locale this time. The Le meridien was extremely modern and had great amenities. Berk egemen, the bellman, actually greeted us upon arrival, and in addition to taking our bags, also checked us into the hotel. We were appointed a lovely spacious suite with a large balcony and incredible views of the bosphorus bridge. In addition to Berk's gracious welcome, he also played concierge, advising us on places to eat. He did give us some sage advice as well, about the illegal taxis that will price gauge you in the ciragan palace area. We did indeed enter a non-sanctioned taxi, who tried to charge us double the normal price. (The illegal taxis appear the same as the legal ones). Thankfully, berk had already forewarned us and we were able to avert being duped. The club lounge was very nice, and provided different snacks and beverages throughout the day and night, which made our stay even more comfortable. All of the staff at the hotel went out of their way to provide excellent service, and the level of service especially from berk was exceptional.

I spent 7 nights in The hotel on a business trip. It's a very Modern, spacious hotel and very well spread out. The hotel really stands out in the area, as it is the only tall building around. The concierge was great in helping book a cruise with dinner and offer any recommendations. The Limo service is great and efficient (apart from the traffic), they could do with learning more English for Tourist purposes.
The Room is spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the city or Bosphorus. I enjoyed the room service, not as much variety as I would like to see in the menu, but fair. When they get something wrong, they admit it and make every possible plan to correct it and make up for it!
They don't exchange all currencies, only the major ones. But overall a great experience and would recommend the hotel.

This is a wonderful new hotel with perhaps the best designed guestrooms that I have seen. Bright, cheerful, fully equipped and with great blackout curtains when you want to rest! Hotel is new with good restaurants (breakfast was excellent and a great selection) and a bar on the top floor with wonderful views over the Bosphorus. Rooms are also very large and staff were very accommodating with an early arrival.
My only criticism is the location; great for a business conference but away from the main sights of Istanbul. BUT – you can get there easily and the suburb of Bebek (just over the hill and on the shores of the Bosphorus) is not to be missed for fantastic dining and just watching the world go by. So some tips for maximizing this hotel;
- Concierge offers wonderful information on how to get around. Catch the public ferry to the Sultanamet for TRY3 (about USD 1.2). Only goes twice a day but you can get great directions and it’s a wonderful 45 minutes cruise of the harbor.
- Bebek suburb is about a TRY 8 cab ride away and a lot of cabs there to take you home. About a 45 min walk if you are feeling adventurous and very scenic.
- You can also take a cab to the subway for easy access to the city.
- Taxi to Sultanahmet was about TRY50. Getting one back is more difficult as there appears a scam amongst the taxi drivers to not use meters from here. We got one for TRY90 and clearly were ripped off, but what can you do?
- Taxi to Airport was about TRY70 (although only TRY50 on a Sunday arrival to hotel with no traffic)
