“Amazing stay in the heart of Sultanahmet, highly recommend!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2012

This is definitely a gem in Sultanahmet! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would definitely stay here again when travelling through Istanbul. Besides being in the ideal location (a short stroll to Ayasofya & the Blue Mosque + restaurants, shops etc) the staff at the hotel were amazing, generous and very helpful. The hotel was serviced daily and the rooms were clean and modern. There was free wifi throughout the hotel and a beautiful traditional turkish breakfast was served daily. Couldn't be happier with our choice to stay here & would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Istanbul on a budget!

I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone coming for a short break to see the sights of Istanbul. The location is superb - five minutes walk from Sultanahmet square, across the road from Topkapi Palace and Gülhane park. Also walking distance to the Grand Bazaar and the docks. The tram stop is five minutes downhill from the hotel and has an excellent and cheap connection to Atatürk airport.
The rooms are small but clean, the bed was comfortable and air conditioning worked perfectly. It was a little noisy within the hotel itself, but the surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of choice and hot food prepared fresh for each guest.
Where this hotel really shines is the friendliness and helpfulness of its staff. They were all extremely chatty, open and ready to answer any questions.

Room Tip: There is no lift, so ask for a lower floor if you have issues with stairs. The staff are happy to he...

The location of this place is awesome, it is right next to a tram stop and about two minutes from the aya Sophia and and the Blue Mosque. Other that that, the rooms are clean, air conditioned and a pleasure to stay in. The breakfast was also delicious and the breakfast lady was so friendly, and warm and always there with a smile :) Also, Irfan had helped us a lot even taking us for a walk to show us where to get some good local turkish delight. The staff were hospitable to the max - always had a pot of tea brewing and always greeting you with a smile and helping you in any way possible. I would definitely recommend this place and would absolutely stay there next time I am in Istanbul!

Thw two best things:
Location: ridiculously close to aya sofia, blue mosque, palace, etc.
Staff: irfan is simply the best hos you can have (hey, boss, give him a raise before four seasons snatches him!)

One draw back, the room was a little damp.

All in all 5 stars. It wont get better/closer than this for this price.

Everyone in this hotel is warm-hearted and friendly, we love the experience there. Especialy Irfan who helped us a lot even he's not on shift and after we checked out. Besides, the breakfast is great and fresh. Thanks a lot for all the experience there.

The staff was great, especially Irfan, a great young guy with inborn hospitality, one would sometimes wish 5 stars hotels have reception qualities like his. Hotel is nice and small, rooms are on the smaller side but newly decorated and fresh. Breakfast is nice, with fresh fruits and fresh omlette. Serves coffee and tea all day long for free which was really nice, and has couple of outdoors tables which were really nice for a rest in the evening when the whether gets a bit cooler. Thank you minel, it was one of the highlights of our trip to be there, and will be there again for sure.

Room Tip: The higher the floor the quieter (gets a bit noisy during breakfast at ground level)
