“Fantastic cooking class with delicious meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2013 via mobile

I highly recommend signing up for this course as a fun, educational, and entertaining activity to do while in Istanbul. We had a fun time learning how to make a variety of Turkish dishes and then enjoyed the fruits of our labor with wine afterwards. Our instructors were fantastic - they showed us basic techniques and explained why we were preparing and cooking things in a particular way. They also have a great sense of humor, which added to the overall entertaining experience. One of the top experiences of our trip, especially as something to do other than the usual sightseeing tours.

“Excellent way to spend half a day!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 9, 2013 via mobile

We went with a group of 9 people and we all had a fantastic experience. The menu is set however I don't eat meat (there was only one dish that contained meat) and another in the group is gluten intolerant and in both cases the dishes were easily adjusted for us without interrupting the rest of the cooking. In both cases, at the appropriate stage in the preparation, a single portion was removed and in my case I proceeded with the recipe using mushrooms while the rest went ahead and added meat. After the dishes were all complete, we got to sit down and enjoy everything. There was not a single dish that we didn't all rave about.
The whole process is really well explained and while I cook a fair bit all the tips I picked up are going to really improve my experience at home.
I highly recommend this wonderful experience. It was a most enjoyable and delicious way to spend half a day.

“Excellent cooking school experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 6, 2013

The five course dinner that we prepared and enjoyed was excellent. There were 12 participants for four hours and the owner and chef were fantastic! We prepared:
Lentil soup
Stuffed eggplant
Dolmades
Zucchini fritters
Stuffed figs
My non cooking husband was able to join us for the dinner for a small fee.
Great Istanbul experience!

“Good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2013

We had a nice meal here - the four course set price set menu. Not cheap, nor is the wine, but it was all good and tasty and the place is small but relaxed. Very different from the other restaurants in this busy street.

“A fantastic learning experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 19, 2013

We took this 150TL Turkish cooking course, including meal and drinks, and we were so glad we experienced this. We thoroughly recommend this if you love Turkish food, and want to be educated in preparing a typical Turkish meal. See their website for more details, and the restaurant also has a 50TL per person set course meal available for lunch and dinner.
