Excellent 2 days trip to Cappadocia tour guiding including a ballon tour in the middle. I highly recommend New Deal Travel agency (Erkan & Huseyin), the team is very professionnal, welcoming with a big sense of humour. The package is really worth it and the experience never to be forgotten: north and south tour guiding of Capadoccia with well experienced academic guides (Hamidey & Alpi) including unique sites as Goreme, undergound cities and many others, 1 hour ballon tour in Goreme (one of the best experience of my life), traditional turkish lunches and a special night in a cave hotel + many extra surprise like visiting a family living in a cave. Only one little disappointment: the visit of traditional carpet/pottery/jewelery cooperatives was very interesting but the commercial parts could be skipped.

Will come back for sure for another experience with this tour agency in eastern Anatolia probablly.

Excellent travel company that we used for other tours as well. We saw Pergamom, Troy and Gallipoli peninsula. Our guide for Galipoli was a retired professor and though fascinating, ended up saturating us with information. Most knowledgeable guide of our month long trip.
We changed buses at Gallipoli and travelled 5+ hours to Istanbul. Still had time to explore the city for a few hours before lights out.
There was not much to see at Troy but still worth going. Some walls were 4500 years old! Pergamom has incredible history and vistas.

Our bus picked us up at our hotel in Istanbul punctually at 6.45am and we accomplished the approximately 5 hour trip to the Gallipoli Peninsula by noon. After a change of buses we headed across the peninsula where we had a 'traditional' and tasty lunch in a small village and then headed back along the road to Anzac Cove for one of perhaps 8 stops over nearly 5 hours of the afternoon and early evening. Each stop was historically significant and a lot of information (perhaps too much?) was imparted by our guide, a retired professor who had researched his topic in enormous depth. He knew, I'm sure, everything there is to know about the Gallipoli campaign from both the Turkish and allied point of view. But by the last couple of stops people were groaning about getting off the bus for more information. Had the presentation been confined to the important facts and delivered more lightly the tour would have been more appreciated.
Our overnight stay was at the Hotel Anzac in Canakkale, a very basic hotel. Some people opted to return to Istanbul (another 5 hours or so) that night.
