I stayed at Rose Garden Suites and my two daughters at Garden House for 3 days in August 2013. It is a great hotel with elegant rooms and very comfortable beds. The hotel is very close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar, and many other museums and mosques, like many other hotels in Sultanahmet. What makes Rose Garden Suites is unique the people serving there are very welcoming, friendly, and serve you beyond duty, worth to mention Selcuk, Arif, Ramazan, and the tall bellboy from Diyarbakir--I forgot the name. The garden lobby for breakfast (included), cocktail, nightcap, and reading our books with free cold drinks, tea and coffee and a few other goodies really adds a lot to the character and contort of the hotel. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed Istanbul with Rose Garden Suites. Finally, I enjoyed watching two beautiful cats in the lower part of the garden. Rose Garden Suites are definitely highly recommend!

Really one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in all around: the atmosphere is beautiful with the Ottoman-style furniture and decorations, and has this very relaxing (and also beautiful) garden in the middle of both buildings where a delicious, varied, and included breakfast is served every morning, where free water, juice, and snacks are available all day, and where other drinks and food are available for purchase during the rest of the day. As other reviewers have said, the hotel and its staff take great care in their work, as shown by their around-the-clock help, attention to detail, and overall friendliness and attitude. Every staff member was amazing! Special shout out to Ramazan and Selçuk ... but really, a great hotel if you're looking to stay in the heart of the Golden Horn - and it really was a great value, for what you get and the comfort you're sure to have!

The Rose Garden was such a warm ,welcoming, secure place to stay in Istanbul. It felt very homey for my entire family. The rooms were all uniquely decorated, and the bed linens very comfortable and of high quality. The bathrooms spacious and nicely marbled. It was a very comforting respite from traveling to have complimentary beverages and snacks available during the day. The location was supreme at about 5 minutes walking distance from the square, yet very quiet for sleeping at night. The staff made special effort to connect with each of my children, Ramazan knew them each by name! If Visiting Istanbul, I would stay here again.
