“Amazing Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

We took 2 boat tours up the Bosphorous with this company. It was recommended to us by our hotel. The first one we took was a half day tour with lunch and people could swim in the Black Sea. Lunch was really nice :). My friends and I chose not to swim we got off and relaxed with some ice cream instead.Towards the end of the trip there was some Turkish Dancing this was most enjoyable to watch :). It was a very nice relaxing start to our trip. A week into our trip we decided to take another tour with the company. This tour was fantastic. We got taken to Ortakoy a previous fishing village, the village had lots of nice little markets After this we were taken to Kucusu palace (the smallest ottoman palace). The tour guide Aslan was extremely informative with his knowledge regarding the ottoman empire. We were also taken to Rumeli fortress. From the fortress we saw the most spectacular views of Istanbul. After this the company dropped us off at Dolmabace palace. The company were great in that they would pick you up from your hotel and drop you off wherever you needed to be. The staff were really friendly too. A definite must do in Istanbul.

“Nice trip but a bit rip off”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2013

The full day trip is very nice it starts with a boring stop at some houses with nothing to see. The tour guide (aslan?) spoke a nice english and could tell alot about the stops and the history of the places. After that the stops improve with a nice stop at the hunting lodge of the sultans and an evan better stop at rumeli fortress. After that its just one more stop where you can go swimming at a little beach next to an hourbor. You actually have to pay 5£ to get to the beach. The food is ok. It's cooked and served on the boat so if you don't expect a super meal you will enjoy it. The soft drinks are all included but the beer is a total rip off! 15£ for one small bottle of beer is too much. If you book the tour make shure that you try to dump the price a little! We paid 55€ each instead of 79€ each!

Ps: the afternoon trip is in my opinion very disapointing! They shipped us to the beach and we could swim for an hour but thats about it! So if you want to pay that much money for just an hour of swimming you will be fine.

We took the half day morning tour. There was maybe twenty of us on the boat. The boat was comfortable. The morning tea was industrial packet cakes. The guide was very informative when asked questions by individuals but as whole did not give much information over the PA on what we were seeing on the river. We visited Ortaköy first, maybe after 20 minutes. There was not much to see in this neighborhood at all, since the mosque was under renovation so we just walked around for half an hour waiting to get back on the water. Then next across the river to an old rococo hunting lodge which was fine but after being in Paris not much to compare. Back on the boat to Rumeli fortress. Although the guide Aslan (?) was informative on ancient and modern history of Turkey, it definately wasn't worth 45 euros. Entrance to Rumeli and the hunting lodge were 5TL each. May as well take a public ferry to these sites. Would not recommend this tour to anyone.

“Nice way to spend the day”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2013

Our family had seen most of the popular tourist attractions in an earlier visit, so we decided to take a cruise up the Bosphorus to swim in the Black Sea. It was a pleasant journey with an excellent lunch and great service.

“amazing tour and it was a nice BDay Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2013

We had an amazing tour experience. We really thought that our tour won't happen because that day all tours were cancelled in the morning for the swimming race in Bosphorus.

We were supposed to go in a whole day tour with ibo. We were ready as early as 7:00AM but because of the race we were told to go in the afternoon instead for a half day tour. So we waited until afternoon for the tour.

They pick us up from our hotel to the cruise and vice-versa. The wait was absolutely WORTHY.
I think only a number of people had their Birth Day while cruising in Bosphorus and I can say "I am one of them".
