“Nice and comfortable”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2012

This new hotel is exactly what you are looking for when you are at a business trip at the Asian side of Istanbul. It is close to the airport, brand new, luxurious and classy. The staff is friendly and helpful. You have a large scale of options for breakfast. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and really nice.. This hotel will absolutely be my first preference at my next visit to Istanbul.

This is a new hotel that is mainly designed for the traveller to Istanbul who has business on the Asian side of the city. It is very conveniently located just across the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge. Travel time from the airport to the hotel is 30 minutes on a good day and 60-90 minutes on a bad day. A taxi ride from the airport to the hotel is around 70 TL. Money can easily be exchanged at the airport.
This is my second stay at this property. I found overall that it is a great place to stay with a few exceptions. Firstly on the good side, the concierge and front desk staff are exceptional. I was trying to get directions the grand bazaar by bus/ferry because I had a day off. Not only did I get great directions but the concierge was concerned that I might have difficulty arranging for a bus pass so he offered me his personal pass to use. Check in and checkout were fast and easy and all of my special requests were handled efficiently.
The downside of this property is that the rooms are relatively small with not very much storage and workspace for the business traveller. There are only showers in the room but they do work well.
The fitness area is relatively small but there is a good dry and steam sauna for the use of hotel guests. There is also a very small pool that you can use as well.
Above I noted the exceptional service I received in 2 areas however there were 2 areas that the service could certainly be improved. The first is service at breakfast which is a buffet. Even though on several days there were very few people in the restaurant it seemed that the wait staff spent more time trying to avoid serving you than they did providing service. The other area was the spa. I think that ignored would be the best description of the service there unless you specifically found someone and asked a specific question.
I also would note that there are very few children staying at the hotel. In 13 nights there I only remember seeing 5 children and I think at least one or two belonged to hotel staff.
There is shopping and restaurants just up the street from the property in the Kavacık area.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are best.

This hotel is of particular interest of those who are on business trips for companies with the offices in the business area on Asian side: there are quite a few companies.
If you stay there, you avoid morning rush hour if you are getting from the European side by the bridge, and your life is safer as you don't need semi-crazy Turkish taxi drivers.

the hotel itself is brand-new and has everything you can think of. It has got its very well deserve five stars, and is not overcrowded (probably, yet), or probably because it is not in a tourist area, though you can walk (30 mins) to Bosphorus where you can take a ferry to explore Istanbul from the water. Also there are few decent restaurants in the area (staff will help you to find them).

Overall, great experience, highly recommended!

Room Tip: take a "corner-room", it is not much more expensive, but it's well worth it!

It makes sense to say there if you have business on the Asian side nearby. Old city can only be reached by passing over the bridge that connects Asian to European side and this bridge has often traffic congestion, the same as many streets in city centre. The hotel lies in a quiet location with not much to do around there. It has also many nice facilities like a Turkish hammam and swimming pool. Rooms are beautiful and nicely equipped. Wifi connection is available for free.

Stayed there twice now. The rooms are small(ish) but adequate. Very modern design and fittings with great rain-forest shower. No bath which is fine for me. Very nice bed with assorted pillows of different shapes, sizes and softness, which was a nice touch.

Service was good, the location great for the New Bridge and overall this new hotel is very good. The decor and interior design is crazy, with a clash of styles that really works.

Stayed just 2 nights. New property just around a year old near office blocks but away from anywhere much of interest so only handy if you are on business in the locality. Room was clean but on the small side but bed comfortable and bathroom nice enough. Breakfast plentiful and quite tasty. Room service was ok but limited choice. Would stay there again out of necessity but a bit soulless.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights during a trade show in Istanbul.

The hotel is located on the Asian side of the city and it is approx. 36 km to both airports. I arrived on Ataturk Airport on the European side around 6 o'clock and in rush hour it took 1.5 hour to get to the hotel. This is something to consider if you are travelling a lot between the two sides of the city.

The hotel is brand new. Check-in was very smooth and the staff speaks perfect English. The room was nice with all the necessary items and extras. There were two complimentary bottles of water, free high-speed wifi and comfortable beds. The window could be opened and additionally there is individual airconditioning in each room.

The breakfast buffet is huge, with all the selections you can think of and it is included in the hotel rate. The chef makes a good omelet and they have freshly squeezed orange juice.

The hotel also has a swimming pool and hamam that is free of charge to guest, you only pay for massages, etc.

Highly recommended if you are staying in this part of town.
