I stayed there for two month and I have no complaint of it. I was surprised when I found one of the staffs spoke Japanese! This is really helpful for the Japanese people who stay in Istanbul because in many cases Turkish people don't speak English. But in addition to this, another staff, a lady, speaks English very well. All the staffs were very friendly, kind and helpful. In fact, they always did help me when I sometimes asked them to. You don't have to hesitate to ask for their help. Not only the room but also the corridors and the stairways were always clean thanks to the cleaning staff. It is located near the center of Istanbul (only 10 minutes walk to Taksim), there are some supermarkets nearby and also in front of it is a small market where you can buy water, breads, vegetables, fruits and even some kinds of alcohols such as Efes beer, so you don't have to worry about your daily life if have some amount of money. I think it is suitable for both tourists and log-time visitors from abroad.
