Please don't waste your money on this tour, the cable car ride was a joke 1 hour wasted for a 1 minute ride down.
The translators were very poor quality but the boat ride was nice.
Not worth the £35 .

2 separate tours.
First, a whole-day trip to Iznik. Iznik (in Bible times it's name was Nicea) is the center for the gorgeous hand-made tiles that are used in many mosques. Our guide Muharrem Akbasoglu was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and engaging. Iznik is app. 3 hours southeast of Istanbul, with a 2-hour drive followed by a ferry ride (Iznik is on a lake). Muharrem provided us with lots of interesting facts, figures, and stories and the day went by quickly. We toured a tile-making venture and Iznik itself is a charming small town, with lots of historical sites and ancient churches and mosques.
Second, our group did the all-day Tour 6: Bosphorous and 2 continents (Europe and Asia). Muharrem was again our guide. The tour included the old city walls, Golden Horn, Spice Bazaar, Bosphorus by boat, lunch at restaurant Café Lokum near Sultanamet Square (see separate review), Borphorus bridge, Chora museum (former church and then mosque, now museum), and Camlica Hill (highest point in Istanbul – Asian side – with great city views and café ).
I highly recommend both of these experiences, and Muharrem as the guide.

I would not recommend this tour. The first hour was spent on the bus and when we came to the first stop they realised we were on the wrong bus. We spent more time in traffic than touring. We did the Bosphorous tour and then came back to where we started from for lunch and then back past where we boarded for the Bosphorous. We went to the Palace and then up to the lookout to take photos of the haze. Back on the bus in peak hour traffic.

We did a 2 days tour of Istanbul with the SHE TOUR. We saw the old city, islamic relics and then did the bosphorus cruise and dolmabache palace with cable carts. Our guide was Ms Anil. Very well spoken English and very friendly. The food provided by the tour at local restaurants very excellent. Enough time to take the pictures and very detailed history given by the guide. Me, my husband and our two teenage children enjoyed the tours very much. The best part was Bosphorus cruise on private boat and the cable carts. Anil lead the group in full control and there was not a single moment of boredom!!! Highly recommend to do She Tour in Istanbul.

We got recommended by Tourist Office at the train station nearby the old town. We thought they should be good and we agreed on Bhosporus Tour + Cable car at 35 Euros. The explanation on how the tour goes was interesting but wait until you got the real tour. It is supposedly take around 4,5 hours, 2,5 hours of it was waiting, picking up, deciding things and delay...delay...delay.

The boat is cheap and simple comparing to others.

At the end of the tour, they asked us 4 times about our hotel but they still failed to drop us there.

The guide repeated the same information over and over again. It is neither informative nor entertaining.

So avoid it and don't take the advice of Tourist Information Centre of Istanbul. They just gave you the companies that give them the highest commission.
