The views from this point of the city are breathtaking. I recommend going with a guide who can drive you across the bridge right to the point of drop off. It's really a beautiful place and I am so glad we took the time to go. Be warned that there are some parts that have uneven footing. My son fell down while we were there as he wasn't paying close attention.) You can also pay 1 Turkish Lira and use the telescopes. Definitely try to wait until the morning fog has burned off before going.

It was such a cool experience to go from one continent to another all in the same city! From Camlica Hill, you get an awesome view of the European side of Istabul while standing on the Asian side. It is a great photo op, but try not to go in the early morning like we did. It was foggy and gray outside so we didn’t get much of a view. Later in the day it clears up, so that’s the better time to go.

We are staying in old city town and we decided to visit the Camlica hill.
First, we got on the ferry from Eminonu to Uskudar (3 TL one way) and at Uskudar we took bus 15C (we had to ask some guy in information center where to buy ticket and wich bus to take) and got off on the last station (lokal guy said it is the best way to reach the top - but he was wrong). We walk up on the hill and the stunning park from pictures was never to be seen so we asked few lokals for the way. Finally we found it and it was worth it.

The ticket for the bus costs 7 TL for both ways (but you have to explain that to the seller who is definitely not speaking english)

Camlica is one of those 7 hills of Istanbul located in Asian part. you can easily reach the place by bus (15E) from Uskudar. but its a long ride.

Camlica is just a green hill which you can see a beautiful sight of Istanbul from its top. Also there are some cafes and restaurants on top of the hill which serving many kind of foods with reasonable prices.
But, overall Camlica is just a hill! and I'm not going to advise you this place unless you have plenty of free time and don't know what to do with that time ;)
