What an amazing stay that my friends and I had at the hotel. From the day that we arrived to the very last we had nothing but wonderful experiences. I must commend the hotel on their very warm and friendly environment that is created by their staff that makes anyone's stay more enjoyable. The hotel has great spa facilities which allows one to relax after a long day spent walking and shopping and the breakfast buffet has a delicious selection of treats from fruit to a variety of pastries. An outstanding feature of the hotel is the extra touches that it presents to its guests. Tea/coffee was served on arrival while the hotel manager explained the hotel facilities, tourist attractions around the area and a map which showed how to get around Istanbul. The hotel also upgraded our rooms to make our stay more enjoyable. To end off our stay and to remind us of the beauty of Istanbul, the hotel provided us with a gift bag that had different trinkets to remind us of our amazing stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody who would like an extra amazing experience in Istanbul.

We arrived at the hotel and was greeted with warm smiles. We were upgraded to the deluxe room for free then we were given a tour of the facilities. We were then asked to have complimentary tea or coffee in the restaurant and were shown maps and the landmarks that were around us which was so helpful and welcoming and then we were shown to our amazing room. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are spacious. The breakfast buffet is delicious and there is a decent variety. We then returned to Istanbul for one more night and upon checking in we were given a free upgrade to the 'bosphoros suite'. Words cannot describe how beautiful the room is. Beautiful views with a Jacuzzi. It was beyond breathtaking. We also used the spa, which is really nice and an amazing hamam experience. The massages we had were also lovely. Beautiful, clean, classy and serene would describe the spa. Every afternoon there is a delicious selection of pastries and biscuits in the hotel lobby for the guests. When checking out we were given beautiful little gifts, which we adore. It is in the perfect location and within walking distance from major landmarks such as the grand bazaar and Topkapi palace. I would like to thank the staff at Levni Hotel and Spa for being so hospitable and making our stay even better than we imagined.

My first time in Istanbul and the choice for hotels was overwhelming. We chose the Levni based on location, Trip Advisor reviews and the fact they had twin rooms - i was surprised how many hotels we contacted that only had doubles!

Arranged arrival transfer via the hotel, the car was a big 8 seater Merc, transfer time from the IST airport is only around 20 minutes so super convenient.

The location is excellent, if you walk out the back entrance there are metro and tram stops within easy walking distance as well as all manner of restaurants, a few bars etc but at night it's quiet enough to get some sleep, definitely not a party area but we liked being distance to enough choice of evening meals and drinks places.

The front entrance is up a bit of a hill! The Old City is not stroller friendly, but the Grand Bazaar is an easy 10 min walk max and not too further on is the Blue Mosque and St Sofia. You really can't fault the location!

Breakfast was a dream for me as i currently live in China, and the choice of fresh fruit, veggies, olives, cheese, honey, breads etc was unbelievable. The selection didn't change but that was fine for me! A few hot options and an omlette station finished it off. The only thing i would say is sometime the coffee tasted instant :-) Not a big deal!

All the staff were very friendly, and the restaurant staff almost had a family atmosphere about them. Maria the guest relations staff member was always on hand to offer you hints, tips etc and recommend places to eat and things to do. The tips she gave us to avoid tourist scams were a great reminder to just be a bit careful when checking prices etc etc. From Maria i felt a genuine happiness to help guests.

Not a downside, but i did have one problem which was quickly resolved by the hotel no questions asked. We booked a twin delxue/executive room, which we got, but as all rooms are listed as "semi open bathroom" we didn't think anything of it, however the bathroom was too open for me and a friend to share! I get it's a modern, cool boutique thing, and they're certainly no the only hotel to do it, but large double glass doors with no blinds or curtains on a bathroom is just a bit too much for me. You would be able to see your partner using the toilet and having a shower from most angles in the room. My friend and i like each other, but not THAT much.

The decor in the room was lovely, very modern, especially the bathroom but i wanted to switch rooms, and the front desk were happy to accommodate me, but all that level room had the same issue so we viewed two large standard rooms, and chose one to switch to. Nothing was a problem and i get the impression we weren't the first to ask! Decor in the standard rooms is still good, just not as funky, it's a bit more standard hotel room, but everything is still mod cons. We were however happy to downgrade just to have a non see through door on the bathroom!

All in all i would stay at the Levni again, with free wifi all over the hotel and a great location and breakfast, it's a perfect choice. Just check the doors on the bathroom :-)

A five star hotel with five star staff service. Room was one of the nicest I have stayed in. Staff couldn't do enough for you with a genuine caring attitude. Arrived with a heavy cold and the manager arranged for a herbal tea with honey to be brought to my room. Location is perfect, 10 minutes to Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque and Sea Front. Spa was wonderful and not pushed like other hotels I have visited in Turkey. Breakfast was plentiful with lovely fresh omelettes made to order. What this hotel does best is the attentive nature of their staff, always willing to help and go the extra mile for information, nothing was not much trouble. The restaurant manager always made sure I had plenty of coffee as I was usually waiting downstairs for my two teenagers!! If you are looking for a hotel in Istanbul which is spotlessly clean, a central location, good food and attentive staff then look no further than the Levni.

We reserved a family room and we had 2 separates rooms with an outside corridor connexion. If the kids close the door there are locked inside with the card and you in the other room!!! You have to pay more for an expresso the morning. Poor quality of breakfast buffet. No hight chair. Nice spa but you have to wear a swimming cap for the swimming pool!!! Unbelievable for a 5 stars. Cold water. It depends waiters or staff but you can find kind person. Cheap mini bar so good point. Dust in cupboard but clean everywhere.
For the price I do not recommend this hotel for a family. Not really family friendly. I am pretty sure for the same price (£1300 for 3 nights) you can find more kids friendly.

We are glad with your nice comments and also we inform that we will get necessary actions about your valuable suggestions. Kindly we would like to mentione about the room key, if we had known the situation we would change the electronic settings of the door for your nice children by pleasure. Also it would be gladsome to prepare a special breakfast for your family since we are a boutique style hotel.

We would like to mentione about temperature of swimming pool. Because of hygiene rules water temperature need to be always 28 degrees to prevent the growth of bacteria. Also it is necessary to wear swimming cap for the same reason.

Special thanks for your positive coments about staff !!

We thank you for your time and for your review, the feedback you gave us will improve our services that meets our guests needs and expectations.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for any question and for all suggestions. It will be pleasure to see you at Levni Hotel again.

2 things stand out most at this hotel: the excellent staff and the great location. My wife and I loved staying here and would definitely come back to see the friendly faces again. Our favourite was Mr Hussain from the hotel's restaurant, who would greet us every morning without fail and was always very attentive. He is superb. The location of the hotel is perfect - you can walk almost everywhere from it. My wife and I spent afternoons walking to the Topkapi Palace, Haghia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar. It was a really nice way to get around the places of interest in Istanbul. Istanbul is a beautiful city, with equally beautiful people and plenty of things to do.

We definitely recommend the Levni Hotel.

Room Tip: Our only gripe the entire stay? The small rooms. My wife and I didn't realize the standard room...
