I went to Istanbul recently for 4 nights, after researching hotels on tripadvisor I booked Levni due to the good reviews, and I have to say I certainly wasn't disappointed. The hotel is in a perfect location to explore, it's 2 mins from a metro stop and about 5-10 mins walk from most of the major sites like the Blue Mosque. There are lots of bars and restaurants in the streets around the hotel so you don't need to go far to find somewhere to go. The facilities in the hotel were also excellent, it's very contemporary with some nice quirky touches. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and spacious. The staff are amazing (particularly Aykut and on reception whose name I can't remember, sorry), when we arrived we were welcomed warmly, and every day we were greeted like old friends. I would love to go back to Istanbul and definitely wouldn't stay anywhere else.

I would rate this excellent for the staff as they go above and beyond in every way, especially Selahattin Ayaksiz in the Restaurant and others (names unknown) in the Restaurant, also Oksana (spelling?) in Guest Relations. The hotel was in a good location, there is construction currently happening around the area (September 2013), but it was not a problem. The room was well kept, a bit small for the nightly rate. The spa is quite lovely with pool, Turkish bath and Sauna. The pictures Levni shows are in line with what the hotel and spa actually look like, so you won't arrive thinking the pictures were nicer than the actual hotel. It's in a great location for walking to many "sites to see" in Istanbul. The staff were the best, as though you were a most welcome guest in their home, showering you with kindness! :))

Room Tip: Make requests for your needs when booking the room (location preference, bathroom preference - ie working bathtub, etc.).

I very much enjoyed my stay @ Levni Hotel. Coming home each evening after visiting the attractions of Istanbul was like coming home, being welcomed by the very friendly personal in Hotel Levni.
The major tourist sites like Aya Sophia and Sultanahment Mosque are in 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. In the opposite direction its also only 5 minutes per pedes to reach the harbour, where cheap public boats are leaving e.g. to the asian part of Istanbul.
The rooms are very clean, for environment protection reasons you can still choose to have your room cleaned only each second day, but of course each day is the default. The nice people working in the hotel are friendly and helpful all of the time. Breakfast is great including honeycomb, fresh warm selections, a vast collection of breads, fresh pressed orange juice, rose jam (among lots of others), plates with cheese, sausages .....
As a comany for your dinner you can choose from a good selection of red and white wines or just stick to a good cold beer (I liked Efes dark the most).
In case you need a relaxing break from seeing the city, you can enjoy the Spa inside the hotel (swimming pool with whirlpool, turkish bath, tropical shower, sauna), use the fitness room or have a massage (there you need to choose from a massage menu :) ).
Windows are very good isolating the usual background chatter you have in a large city. Never was disturbed by any noise.
I really hope to come back in future!

Stayed for four nights, excellent contemporary rooms and facilities. We stayed in a duplex room near reception, room is on two floors, modern, clean, spacious. Great location for visiting main attractions. The hotel restaurant is great for breakfast and there are a lot of great eating places within a few streets. Staff are a real asset, very helpful, quick to provide information and do that little bit extra that makes a difference to experienced travellers. Mr Aykut Konak is an excellent guest relations host. For example, leaving a birthday cake and wine in our room! The Spa facilities are excellent, we had a couples turkish bath and massage which was fabulous. Male and female staff, Naif great masseur for the guys. If you are going to Istanbul for business or sightseeing you should seriously consider the Levni. We will definitely return.

My wife and I have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Levni Hotel which is perfectly located for all the main tourist sights. The hotel staff goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Levni has an English speaking concierge to help you plan your sightseeing. Also I recommend booking on the website as you get a complimentary airport transfer. We will stay again. Thanks for everything.
