“Historic Istanbul at its finest!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

After years of waiting to visit Istanbul, we were thrilled to finally have the opportunity! Our time in this historic city proved to be exceptionally fulfilling, and we especially enjoyed our experience at the Millenium Suites during our three-day stay. Their warm welcome and gracious hospitality enhanced every aspect of our visit and left us with a fabulous impression of the city, its people and culture. Although, due to an error, we had to stay next door for one night of our three-night stay, every possible attempt was made to assure our comfort and make up for any inconvenience caused by this oversight.
We cannot say enough positive things about the owner, Mr. Alpert, and his staff. They have every reason to be very proud of their hotel and all it offers its guests. The hotel location is perfect for accessing all the historic sites as well as offering a lively night-time scene. Also, many of the area restaurants have roof-top restaurants from which to enjoy fabulous views of the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sofia.
Our visit, albeit much too short to explore such a vibrant city in depth, provided a perfect introduction...thanks is large measure to The Millenium Suites Hotel owner and staff. We would love to visit Istanbul and stay here again!

Room Tip: Rooms in back are quiter, although the view is limited. The rooms in front look out over a lively s...

Stayed here for four nights. The staff couldn't be more welcoming & helpful!! The location is perfect for exploring the old city and just around the corner from the Four Seasons at four times the price. The hotel is located on a busy street with other hotels and restaurants, a really fun area of the city to stay in. The rooms are pleasant, comfortable and a good value.
We would definitely stay here again!!

Room Tip: Choose either the room on the ground floor or one in the back to avoid street noise. No elevator.

I cannot say enough about how well we were treated at the Millennium Suites. The service was impeccable. Our rooms were delightful, clean, and very comfortable. The location could not have been better. When (not if) I return to Istanbul, I will not consider staying anywhere but the Millennium Suites. The overall experience was superb. Thanks again to Alper, Taner, and the rest of the staff.

Traveled to Istanbul on my way back from Macedonia and decided to spend 2 days recovering from work. After reading reviews, I booked two rooms for my business parter and myself through TripAdvisor. Reservations were made easily.

At arrival, check in was warm and efficient. A bellman carried our bags to our respective rooms and in perfect English explained all the details. The room and bathroom were large and very well furnished. The entire property was immaculately clean. Towels and linens were first rate. The Internet was fast and FREE. The flat screen TV carried all the major international channels. There was a small refrigerator in the room with complementary water, soda, and beer.

Breakfast was served on a daily basis with an excellent selection of pastries, bread, rolls, cheese, cereal, breakfast meats, coffee, tea, and freshly squeezed orange juice, along with eggs cooked to order. There was no extra charge for breakfast.

The location of the hotel is close to shopping, dining, and the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and Topkapi Palace, along with many other sites. The hotel manager arranged for an excellent private English speaking tour guide (expensive but WELL worth the indulgence), along with transportation to and from the airport.

Check out was warm and friendly.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good rooms.

We have recently returned from a short break holiday in Istanbul and thoroughly recommend Millennium Suites as a great base for exploring the Old Town. The hotel is within walking distance of all of the major sights enabling you to absorb more of the local atmosphere as you amble from one wonderful building to another. All of the hotel staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious and delightfully decorated. We were a little concerned at first to find that our room was at the front of the hotel overlooking the busy street below but the thick curtains and double glazing negated the potential noise and with our comfortable, super king sized bed we slept well! The selection of dishes for breakfast was good and the atmosphere in the dining area relaxed. This is a little gem of a hotel in a beautiful city.

Picked this one purely because of the reviews and was not disappointed. Arrived to a very warm welcome by Tanor and was instantly offered refreshing drinks outside together with maps and information. We had a choice of rooms as we were the first to check in on that particular day so took the room with the large terrace (at no additional cost). It was a delightful room with everything well prepared (including air con that worked efficiently) and the terrace was an added bonus decorated with lovely flowers and pots. Breakfast was well laid out with a vast choice catering for all tastes. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel as a great base for exploring the magical sights of Istanbul.

Room Tip: Ask for the room with the terrace
