No doubt this is a friendly hotel especially Salir and Ferit and the young lady that made all the difference. However, Cihan needs some serious attitude adjustment. I've never been in an hotel where I have had to tell the receptionist not to raise their voice at me repeatedly. First I was sent to a nice restaurant for my 40th birthday but by the time I got there due to bad directions by Cihan, the restaurant was closed but then I went next door and they tried their best for me. Next, my cousin finally checked in and Cihan again literally flung her passport at her at check in. Finally, I tried to get the hotel to please call my hotel in Cappadocia to confirm airport shuttle pick-up and he said he could'nt do it. He intentionally mis-dialed the number so that it would have a recording that he would have to say he could'nt get through. So I said not to worry but can I check-out and get a receipt or proof of stay since I had pre-paid with HOTWIRE and Cihan was unfortunately the guy that had to check me out. I showed him my hotwire confirmation on my cell phone since I did'nt have a hard copy print out and he kept insisting on Expedia etc and had a smirk on his face. I was so shocked at this treatment so I went to bed and asked for the manager's name Mustafa few hours later in the morning. I'm sure there's more to the story of why he treated me with such hostility. Bottomline, he needs customer service training..
As far as the accommodation, it was great and location was ideal and Ferit and Salih certainly made me feel welcome in Istanbul and the hotel.More
