This hotel exceeded my expectations of a Double Tree. The rooms were modern and exceptionally clean. The fitness center is awesome. It has Bosu, bumper plates and l the latest Precor fitness equipment. It even has 2 pilates machines.

The hotel is laying Asian side of Istambul in district of Kadiköy which is the frequented side of Asian side. Near hotel there are very many good restaurants and downtown shopping precincts. Not far from hotel there are a lot of landing places which are available by walking and the ships and fast boats always go frequently. If somebody would like arriving from Sabicha Göcken they can use some modern transfer buses of HAVATAS. One way costs 8 TL per person and the bus arrives a big bus station near hotel.
The hotel is very modern end full-equipment there are two restaurants, fitness, conference room, indoor swimming pool, sauna, massage, steam bath and an outdoor swimming pool and bar on the roof terrace. The Staff is very helpful and polite.
Our room was very large and full-equipment. In the room there was a big Jacuzzi with glass wall, Nespresso Coffee Maker, an electric water heater, a negotiable LG TV with multimedia system, air-conditioning, mini bar, safe, bathrobe, and there are a lot of useful supplementary. The room had an amazing view to Bosporus, Old Town, Sultanahmet, Topkapi Seray (palace), Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and the Marble Sea.
Unfortunately the Jacuzzi was not working but we poured water into Jacuzzi well. We said to staff this problem and they promised to control it. According to technician it was working. After we had gone to our room the Jacuzzi was not working yet!!!

If we deduction this little unpleasantness the hotel is a very pleasant and well-equipment, and it have a good lying. This hotel is a perfect point of departure for more exacting and active tourists.

Room Tip: 301,401,501,601... rooms, excellent wiew

A very nice hotel that was everything I expected from this price range.

Nice breakfast, very friendly staff, location close to the ferrylines, dolmys stop and taxi stand (5min walk), all the nightlife of Kadikoy is a 5min walk away, a nice indoor pool with gym and spa, rooftop infinity pool (which was unfortunately closed) etc etc...

I would like to give a full five star review, but there are some minor issues:

The sound proofing in rooms is ridiculous, you can see the light from the corridor under your door, so you can hear every footstep and every discussion by passing by people.
Walls between the rooms are also pretty thin, when your neighbour watches tv, you can hear it very well.
There is also an popular nightclub on the 12th floor which blasts music until 4am every weekend, which was hearable to the 7th floor, so if you are on the 11th, I feel sorry for you.

Would I stay again? Yes very likely if I want to stay in Kadiköy.
For people wanting to see the sights of Istanbul, European side offers similar hotels for the same price.

Room Tip: Ask for a room as far away from the 12th floor nightclub as possible.

The rooms (standard) are extremly small and remind us on Motel One ( a low Budget Hotel ). The design of the rooms is definitely not modern and can hear every single word of the neighbour room. Staff is unprofessionell and not representativ for a 5star hotel. After checking in we had been quite sure that they have given us the smallest room they have and asked for another one, but they told us that this is the category we booked (and unfortunately already paid). I have never stayed in such a 5star hotel! Definitely not worth the money and not better than a three star hotel!

An excellent hotel with great views but far from the center. It is necessary get the ferry every time you like to visit the old town (about 30 minutes). There are a lot of typical Turkish restaurants next to the hotel.
