“Finest Turkish Pasteries!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 21, 2013

The quality of baklava, lokum, and apple tie was nothing less than spectacular. The service was excellent and staff could speak good english to guide those needing assistance. The interior design was spectacular with sufi paintings and red velvet seating of royal status. Lovely experience. Prices were also very reasonable.

“Must try!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 21, 2013

One of the favourite places in Istanbul, both because of the delights and view. With nice atmosphere you can enjoy typical Turkish sweets. Also, you can buy some to take away. Nice packs for presents.
The way how menu is presented is just perfect and people working there will give their best to help even the English they speak is not so good.
Poor Wi-Fi on upper level, much better downstairs and outside.

“Great view and nice baklava too!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2013

Go upstairs and hope for a seat by the window with a stunning view of the busy streets with the Bospherous in the background. Attentive staff and the biggest, best illustrated menu I have ever seen. Detailed descriptions of the various types of backlava were very helpful. Despite it being a busy and bustling cafe we didn't feel rushed and lingered to take in the view. And the toilets were spotless!

“We went here everyday we were in Istanbul”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2013

Try the turkish coffee, the tea, turkish delight, baklava, or their vast array of puddings. Snag a seat by the window if you can and take in the view. This is a great stop around 4pm when you need a little caffeine, something sweet, and a place to rest your feet. We literally went everyday we were in Istanbul.
