This is a small hotel with a perfect location close to good restaurants, the Metro and the historic centre of old Istanbul. The hotel is located in a cul-de-sac a block away from the tourist area, so it is quiet. Our room seemed newly refurbished - it was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and anxious to help in any way they can. There was a good selection of food for breakfast. In summary, the hotel was great value and the perfect place to stay right in the historic centre of Istanbul. I would highly recommend it.

Friendly at the reception from start to end, spacy and quiet room, good breakfast (possible to bring it yourself to roof with view over Bosporus and Blue Mosque). Good service. Nice area around with restaurants and shops. 5 minutes walking to blue mosque and metro. It is the first hotel I do not have anything to complain about. Very good price quality. If I come back to Istanbul I will book it again!

We had a wonderful week in lively and welcoming Istanbul at Saba Sultan! The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had two rooms which were very tidy with nice clean bathrooms. The view was to the street, not sea side, which was actually ok because you could see some local way of living there. There was also a roof terrace with a rooftop / sea view. Although it's a small hotel, 14 rooms, you can easily book guided trips at reception. We booked a Bosporus cruise, dervish dance ritual and hamam though hotel, with no extra charge, and everything worked well. The most important sights of Istanbul are only minutes away. The location, old town of Istanbul, is "infested" with gift shops of all kind, but it's not a lifeless place abandoned by locals. Just off the hotel you will find many decent restaurants and even a compact version of Grand Bazaar called Arasta Bazaar. To see modern living you need to take a taxi or tram to Beyoglu. Istanbul is huge and crowded but laid back and bohemian city with layers and layers of history. For us Saba Sultan was a perfect place to experience it for the first time.

Room Tip: Street view rooms might be noisier, but it didn't bother us much on the second floor. Book a sea view room if the roof terrace is not enough.

A small and cosy place to stay. Clean rooms, very polite personell, cosy atmosphere, very calm and quite place and surroundings, view to the sea was outstanding, terrace on the top floor.
3-5 mins walk from Aya Sofya, Topkapi and Blue Mosque. Will definitely stay there again!

Room Tip: Ask for the top floor sea view

Very clean and well kept boutique hotel in a fantastic location. Within walking distance of all the landmarks, easy to get around, safe neighborhood and very quiet at night. The breakfast was great with a lot of choices and the staff are exceptional. They all speak English and excel at outstanding customer service. Went for a weekend getaway and it was absolutely perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: had a room with balcony facing back of hotel and it was very quiet. Rooms are a bit tight if you keep your balcony door open, but didn't mind it at all.
