This hotel is in a quant little corner of Sultanahmet. It is just a 5 minute stroll to the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sofya! The Grand Bazaar is only just a tram stop away. In fact, the tram will take you to most places you want to go in Istanbul old city and new city. Everything is within 10 minutes from Hotel Saba Sultan! It couldnt be more convenient. What's more, the hotel room is so clean and they have radiators both in the room and the bathroom! (most useful during winter/autum!) The breakfast is lovely and substantial too. If you are looking for a quiet area for a hotel which is close to major attractions, look no further, Hotel Saba Sultan Sultanahment is the best place to stay! Will definitely stay here again on my next venture to Istanbul!

Dear JackSai,

Thank you for taking time to express your compliments.
I am delighted to hear that you enjoy to stay with us.
As you mentioned with in your review, we are indeed, exceptionally lucky to be located right in the very heart of Istanbul.
It is wonderful to read that you enjoyed our breakfast.
Even now, we are making fresh pancakes and omelets every morning according to your wishes.
We know, it is been long time but if you come to Istanbul, we will be glad to see you here again.
We wish for you to think of Saba Sultan as a home away from home.
Welcome to Saba Sultan Family.

Best Regards From Istanbul.

Saba Sultan is a great location - quiet street but only 5 minutes walk from Aya Sofia and the Blue Mosque. Staff very friendly and try very best to be helpful with destinations and attractions.
Rooms are medium sized - we had a room where we could spot the sea through the rooftops. Probably best feature is that hotel is spotlessly clean with fresh towels and bed change every day we were there. Breakfast reasonable.

The hotel prides itself on being family friendly and being quiet. This was a major attraction for us. Despite this there was a lot of noise one night in particular. There were several rooms taken for a private function and predictably they returned in high spirits early hours of morning. Another neighbouring room the girl insisted on walking about with heels on the wooden floor. To be fair this is not the hotels fault that people have little consideration for others. Saba Sultan will have to be strict on this as a major feature of this small hotel is its peaceful location. Plenty other hotels for party people ... but I am fearful Istanbul becomes yet another hen and stag destination. Please no.

All in all a highly recommended hotel, great location and friendly helpful staff.

Room Tip: Normally ground floor rooms noisy, but does not seem to be the case here. Quiet street.

The Saba Sultan was a great hotel for the first timer to Istanbul. My friend and I had never been to Istanbul but the Saba Sultan's location made the trip a lot more enjoyable due to the close access to the main attractions. Our trip was only a few days long but we were able to see everything at a relaxed pace. The hotel itself was very clean and updated. The staff was very friendly and helpful, always willing to answer any question we had. I would definitely recommend the Saba Sultan hotel!

Room Tip: Ocean view would have been nice since there isnt much to see on the city view side unless you are on the top floor.

The Saba Sultan was an ideal Hotel for us,very clean & tidy, all the staff were friendly and very helpful. Location was perfect, very close to the Blue Mosque and just a short walk to the Harbour. A trip to the Bazaar market is something different but a must visit with it's four thousand stalls. The staff recommended a near'by restaurant which is well worth a visit and the surprise invitation to see what was under the restaurant was truely ama'zing!!

Room Tip: trust the staffs advise

The Saba Sultan is a very quaint and clean hotel which is tucked away from the busy streets. It is within walking distance from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Basilica Cisterne (to name a few) which are among the top sites to see. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend going up on the roof as the view is spectacular. The beds are very comfortable and breakfast is a treat. My family and I will definitely go back!
