Stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed great turkish hospitality and service

Every staff member did everything possible to help with every question we had

A warm personal welcome and suggestion of what to do by Sim ( the gordious looking receptionist!!)

Our room was large, spotlessly clean and with all things we needed

Great breakfast buffet included in the room rate was so huge so you could choose different dishes every morning

Are you looking for a small boutique hotel only 4 minutes walk from the blue mosque and several other must sees, with extraordinary hospitality and service, this is the place.
And I forgot to mention the fantastic roof-terrasse werw you can enjoy the sunset over a drink!!!

I've been lucky enough to visit over 45 countries in my life but have never had the personal attention given by staff at the Amira Hotel in Istanbul. After we checked in, the manager spent 15-20 minutes with us in their rooftop restaurant giving us useful information about the city. He helped set us up with a tour and was very attentive to our needs. The staff at the front desk were so cheerful and helpful, I'd highly recommend this boutique hotel within a five minute walk to the Blue Mosque and Hippodrome. Great restaurants within an easy walk also.

Room Tip: Super location for best highlights of Istanful

I concur with the top ratings which this Hotel has collected. Everything is clean and well kept. Reception is outstanding, they take you to the roof garden to explain the Hotel and the sights to visit in Istanbul. We had a large room 701 with a big terasse. Unfortunately the terasse is surrounded by walls and the noisy Hotel airconditioning unit, so totally useless. We expressed our dissatisfaction and immediately obtained a rebate. Ther roof garden is lovely with a beautiful sight over the rooftops of Sulthanamet.
The recption recommended as a “typicaL” Turkish Restaurant “Develi in Hizmetleri”. However it was full of tourists, the location not attractive and 6 stories to climb. Better choose one of the lovely little Turkish Restaurants around the Hotel in Sulthanamet. They are also full of tourists but at least the environment is attractive and the food ok and you can sit outside.

I selected this hotel based on TripAdvisor's ratings and recommendations - and what a great choice it proved to be! Even prior to arrival, I was impressed by the courteous, prompt responses I received to my various email inquiries - useful tips about Istanbul, and helpful tour suggestions tailored to our tight travel schedule (thank you Arthur).

Amira staff arranged for our airport transfers and greeted us warmly and graciously on arrival at the hotel. Our luggage was taken to our room (which had kindly been upgraded) while the lovely Tina escorted us to their picturesque roof terrace for complimentary drinks. Here she outlined the hotel's services, provided us with helpful maps and brochures and explained our orientation to major attractions - all within easy walking distance. Her warmth and charm made us feel at home, relaxed and comfortable about requesting further advice or assistance if required.

Our bedroom and bathroom were immaculate, spacious, and stylishly decorated - bathrobes and quality toiletries were a tasteful touch. Breakfast in the elegant dining room was a sumptuous spread of fresh fruits, cereals, breads, pastries, cooked food - the list goes on! Plenty to charge your batteries with, in readiness for a day exploring Istanbul!

It's impossible to find fault with this charming hotel. The quality of customer service is exceptional. The staff are all helpful, friendly, courteous, professional - all seemed to have a genuine commitment to making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Would I stay here again? ABSOLUTELY!

This would be my favourite hotel any where I have stayed in the world. Location, Location, perfect and the staff where more than helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble. Arriving from a long flight from Australia we were met at the airport as arranged with private transfer and received a cool drink to enjoy during the drive from the airport. On check in we were offered a complementary drink and personal assistance with information on Istanbul and booking were made for us to have dinner that evening. Our room was beautiful and we had a balcony with views to the river and overlooking the square below. So charming we stayed 5 nights and I was sorry to leave, it all felt like family.Do not miss Sunset Sips on the rooftop terrace. Breakfast was great so much to offer.

Room Tip: Request a room with a Balcony. Sunset Sips on the rooftop terrace

We had an absolutely fantastic time.... the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, had some great recommendations (and were very happy to book tables, outings, hamam visits etc). The breakfasts were excellent and we loved the gin and tonics up on the roof terrace in the evenings. The location was great - a five minute walk up to Sultanahmet Square - central, but not too hectic.Istanbul was a terrific place to visit and Hotel Amira was the perfect place to stay while we were there. 'Mr Amira' should be very proud. Thank you.

We visited Istanbul in mid-september for the first time.We selected Hotel Amira based on its location and the great reviews it gets from former guests. And it exceeded all our expectations! It is small and very charming hotel, close to all the major sites in the city. Rooms are spacious, very clean and elegantly decorated. From its roof top terrace you get an amazing view of the Blue Mosque. What a site! The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. They make you feel as they truly care about making a lasting impression and enjoying your stay. They really go well above what you might expect normally. This hotel is a real gem!
