Loved the ferries. for just 3 TNL you can catch a ferry to almost anywhere on the Bosphorous. They run every fifteen minutes, all day and most of the night as well. They all have tea, coffee and soft drinks on sale so even the shortest journeys, you can refresh!

We took a nice 90 minute cruise of the Bosphorus; lots to see, with a stop at the Spice Bazaar. You get to see the new palace, mosques and the Bosphorus bridge.

We did the couple of hours tour for 12 TL with the Turyol tours to the west of Galata bridge. The price is good and the boat was fine apart from one stinky toilet. Beware the drinks that come around - yes you have to pay although they don't say that initially. There seem to be some commentary but I couldn't tell what language as you couldn't hear it on either floor. That being said it was nice touring up and down the Bospherous just chilling out looking at all the ancient and modern buildings. So if you like cruising and looking go, but if you like things a bit more action packed give it a miss.

We took a boat trip for 2 hours from Galata Bridge up to the second Bosphorus bridge. Well worth the £4 each, time well spent and quite relaxing. Plenty of views of memeorable locations along each side of the Bosphorus, give you a different slant on the city.
