We are an Australian couple in our 50s and spent the last night of our trip to Turkey at the Seraglio Hotel. What a wonderful location - easy walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and many other sights. The hotel and buildings in the area were great examples of Istanbul architecture set within cobbled streets - very picturesque. This boutique hotel had everything we wanted with a well appointed room, lovely street views, good breakfast and not least very friendly and accommodating service. We would certainly recommend the Seraglio Hotel for visitors to Istanbul.

We were a group of 6 staying there in May 2014. We arrived in the evening and were only going to have 2 full days in Istanbul. The desk clerk gave us all a drink on arrival and helped us book tours so that we could take full advantage of the time we had. He was honest and the price was fair and certainly with the limited time that we had it enabled us to see the maximum sites. The rooms were kept very clean with really good showers. The breakfast buffet was good and I really must thank all the staff for their hospitality. This is a little gem of a hotel and very well maintained.

Room Tip: If negotiating stairs is bad for you then make sure you are on the ground floor or at the rear of th...

We had a fantastic stay here. We scheduled a pick up at the airport, which worked at very well. We were asked what we'd like to drink when we checked in. We were treated like royalty and even given parting gifts when we left. Highly recommend this hotel!

The rooms were clean, well equipped and with plenty of space. The room was quiet with the hotel at the quiet end of the street. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. On arrival the greeting was informative and helped us plan our stay. The breakfast was very good with healthy options and a lot of choice, in four days I was not able to try everything I wanted to. The restaurant was nice with less of the tourist hassle. The price was very good and better by booking through the hotel web site. I would stay here again.

A great wee Hotel , ideally located for the main sights of Istanbul. Excellent service started with collection from the Airport ,through to a nice quick check in after a tiring journey and the Staff being on hand at all hours to give recommendations and advice such as a print out of the opening times of the Mosques, Museums etc that you may wish to visit. The room itself was immaculate and nice and quiet for a good nights rest after a days adventuring.
The excellent breakfast has been mentioned before on Trip Advisor and lived up to the previous praise.
Very happy to recommend this little gem of a Hotel

Room Tip: Room 202 with its own little Hammam was great but not suitable if you need lift access

The staff was very helpful. Quiet hotel with not too many rooms and also quiet neighbourhood. Our room was clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast was good.
It takes 5 to 10 minutes walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia etc. I was there with my husband, so we think that it is ideal starting point to explore the city!

This was our first family holiday and with a small child we were looking for somewhere close to the major tourist attractions. After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor decided to go with Hotel Seraglio and it didnt disappoint.

On our arrival via an airport transfer through the hotel, the staff were very efficient in getting us settled as it was 11pm and we were all very tired!
With a small child they had set up a cotbed in our room even though the bed was more than big enough for the 3 of us.

The hotel is a 2min walk to all major tourist locations i.e Hagia Sophia,Topkapi Palace, and the Blue Mosque (can even be seen from your room window if your lucky!) Grand bazar is 10min walk on a lovely day is not long at all!

Breakfast each day was a wide variety and chef and his helper were on hand to make freshly made omlettes every morning which went down a treat!

The best part of our stay at hotel was the hospitality of the hotel staff. The manager Kenan and staff members Jalil and Chari were always on hand for any small thing that we needed. From directions to free complentary teas and coffees!

I would definately reccomend this hotel to anyone staying in Turkey and will be staying here again on our next trip to Istanbul!
