Honestly, it's breathtaking, don't you forget to visit the catacombs, and the food is delish, and the walks are amazing. Oh, and the sweets, and the small street, all in all Istanbul is filled with history and romance.

Historic areas of Istanbul are the most interesting historical areas in the world. Hagia Sofia, Golden Horn, old Hippodrome, Chora Church, the walls of Constantinople...
There is so much history in one area. I am glad I visited.

Istanbul is certainly very very busy but it still was very impressive, from the historical old city to the buzzing district of Istikal, and the amazing waterfront location .

I'm pretty sure everyone who visits Istanbul will spend at least a day in this area. Topkapi, Ayasofya, Blue Mosque, Bascillica Cistern-- all great sites to see at Istanbul.

The Museum pass was a must if you intend to spend a few days. Lots of queuing avoided. Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque all spectacular.
