“The best I have tried in Istanbul”
Reviewed November 13, 2013 via mobile

I have read about this restaurant in a brazilian travel blog. As we arrived a little late for lunch, the restaurant was empty, and I did not have the chance to apply my judging criteria for choosing places to eat (if it's full it shall be good...). Anyway we decided to try it. And, wow! What a fish we had there! A very pleasant waiter attended us so well. His name? Ishan. You get to know him, and you will make a friend. We had a fish caserole with mushrooms, tomato and shrimp. Fair price, good food, nice place. Very well recomended.

“Tasty food and professional, unobtrusive service”
Reviewed November 12, 2013

This restaurant has a good selection of dishes on its menu, including some delicious food. Seafood offerings that had more complexity than "grilled, with lemon" were particularly welcome (though if you want grilled with lemon, it's all yours). Service was professional and friendly though unobtrusive. We went twice, sitting inside on the ground floor (it was a bit nippy for outside though there were heaters). We weren't offered the terrace pictured in the Trip Advisor entry.

It had a slightly more upmarket feel compared to other restaurants on the strip, though wasn't posh or formal. It featured the apparently obligatory TV screens, though we managed to sit where they weren't distracting. On one of our visits there was a live guitarist.

I was initially concerned that the restaurant's small L-shaped layout would make for slightly cramped dining, but once we were sat down this wasn't an issue at all. The starters we ordered were all delicious. Meat-based mains were all solid though the fish dishes were better. I would particularly recommend the fish borek or grilled squid followed by one of the fish stews.

The wine list wasn't particularly inspiring, featuring so-so Turkish wines then jumping to very expensive imported options. We decided to stick with beer. Not the cheapest option on the street but good value nonetheless.

“Ate here twice-best on the street”
Reviewed November 8, 2013

You know this is a good restaurant because it is one of the few on this street who don't constantly tout for business. The food was excellent, prices reasonable, service great, and, best of all, was the wonderful view. Highly recommended.

“One of the best meals of the trip”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

Had a shrimp dish (which they classified as an appetizer, I think) for dinner. It was phenomenal. And our waiter was as enjoyable as the meal -- knowledgeable, helpful, funny.

“A good evening”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

We had an excellent meal here from starters through to the fabulous chocolate soufflé that ended the meal.the couple next to us had a fabulous meal too entirely different but all 4 of us left satisfied. The waiters were friendly and engaging . Had had a very disappointing meal a few days earlier at another restaurant in this street so Tria although a little more expensive gets a big vote from me.
