We, (a family of 3) had a wonderful time in Agora life hotel. Both Isa and Kadir were outstanding managers. We were treated extremely well, the service is outstanding, the rooms extremely clean and very comfortable and good breakfast. Our baggage did not make it with us, and Isa was very helpful regarding where to go get the bare essentials. Both Isa and Kadir made multiple calls to the baggage counter at the airport with regards to the baggage while we went out to tour and enjoy Istanbul. We are certainly going back and will stay at Agora life! The convenience to the historic places to visit is within minutes and so is the tram and bus stations!
Thank you Isa and Kadir for making us feel at home.

My stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The staff is extremly friendly and and very obliging. The most striking feature of this hotel, besides the great service, is the amazing view from the roof terrace. The breakfast was also very good. Overall, I can really recommend this hotel and would stay there again!

I had a very good time staying in Istanbul, and in your hotel. The personnel was very kind and service-minded. There is only one thing that I believe you could improve, and that is the breakfast. There should be a little more variation in the food.

But overall, we were very satisfied with everything else, so probably if we visit Istanbul again, we will surely come back! :)

The Agora Life Hotel is not a large hotel, but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in heart. It is a friendly, well-run hotel in an ideal location in the heart of the old quarter just a few minutes walk from the great sights of the historic centre, including the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and gardens, Basilica Cistern, Hippodrome, Sultan Ahmet ('Blue') Mosque, and much more. It is within easy walking distance of the Grand Bazaar, and the waterfront of the Golden Horn and the Galata Bridge. The hotel is in a quiet side street towards the top of a low hill, which means that it is peaceful and yet the views from the rooftop terrace over the historic sights towards the Bosphorous are unsurpassed. The staff are friendly and courteous, and our room, although modest in size, was very comfortable and had a splendid view of the great Hagia Sophia itself. The public transport service is good, and there are two tram stops nearby. There are many places to eat and drink, and the area is full of good-natured street life. The small street in which the hotel stands is also home to one of the oldest Turkish Baths ('Hamam') in the city (see the DK Eyewitness Travel Guide to Istanbul, p 67). For warmth of service, convenience and value for money there is surely no better place to stay in this fascinating city. When we return to Istanbul there will be no decision to make about where to stay, as it has already been made.

I had the great pleasure of joining my father and grandmother in Istanbul for a week long holiday, and we had the joy of beginning our stay at the Agora Life Hotel. The location, staff, and the amenities were as hospitable as the warm culture of Istanbul! I absolutely loved the food, the kind and knowledgeable nature of the staff, and the proximity of the top sights from our hotel were A++!
This was my second trip to Istanbul, and it's still one of my favorite places to visit. I'll definitely make the Agora Life Hotel a standard when spending time with in Istanbul in the future.

Room Tip: Select the suite on the 4th floor. The views are AMAZING and worth the extra dollars!
