“Very nice Boutique Hotel in trendy street... but a bit noisy”
Reviewed October 31, 2009

We stayed here for a few days in October 2009. The rooms are nicely decorated with plany of space compared to a lot of other hotels in the area. The Hotel has a room terrace with a sea view (not a view of the mosque), but most hotels in the area have some kind of roof terrace. The Suite rooms are particularly good, however there is a very busy (and very good) restaurant downstairs, the suite we stayed in was directly above the restaurant which meant if we wanted an early night it was really rather noisy. The other room we stayed in at the back however was much better. The host is incredibly helpful and as i mentioned the restaurant downstairs is very good; in fact it may well have been the best food we had in Istanbul. I would recommend the hotel but i would say if you are looking for early nights then request a room at the back. Oh and don't expect much from breakfast....

Very nice hotel in Sultanahmet, great value and very friendly staff. Very clean and modern look. The greeter downstairs can be moody if you rub him the wrong way, but the owner and rest of the staff are extremely nice and friendly. Highly recommended.

I've been to Istanbul many many times over the years and used everything from 2* to 5*. This is my favourite. The location, in a pedestrianised street centrally located in Sultanahmet (old city), is perfect - minimal noise. The restaurant has a fantastic ambience and the staff are exceptionally nice - friendly but not overly pushy. Great food (for the aficionados, Iskender kebab is on the menu). Wi-fi enabled, which is important for me. Highly recommended with fond memories...

Relaxing stay in a service orientated hotel in the centre of historic Istanbul. The friendliness and hospitality service of the hotel is excellent. Dedicated to their clients what resulted in a good atmosphere within the hotel, its restaurant and other guests. Standard double rooms have sufficient space with trendy look and all other necessities. The bathroom is clean, relative big and consists of trendy accessories with comfortable shower cabin. The restaurant has a broad (inter)national menu whereas the quality and taste of breakfast, lunch or dinner (open till late evenings) is excellent. We recommended people who wants to be in centre of Istanbul for a relaxing time in a friendly atmosphere.
