My friend and I were in Istanbul mid Sept for a wedding, and we shared a twin room in Hotellino. We stayed 5 nights in Hotellino.

Hotellino is modern and clean, tastefully done up, so I felt very at home and chilled. The bed and pillows are new very comfortable. The room comes with a safe, bathrobe and bedroom slippers - how delightful ! The shower heated up instantaneously and has strong water pressure. The room is air-conditioner, but you could always open the big window otherwise. It is situated away from the busy main streets, so the noise level is low. Everything you could possibly need is available - hair dryer, iron, etc.

The breakfast spread is a joy very morning - it is healthy and sumptuous; we were been very well fed. In addition, the hotel also gave us 6 bottles of 0.5l water every day.

The owner, Mine who speaks multiple languages fluently, walked the hotel cafeteria in the morning, making sure all the guests are well looked after. At the same time, she has lots of good advice to offer, including where to go for hamman (spa), haircut, food, shopping, cafes, and any activities you fancy ! My friend and I had many questions and demands, and every single suggestion from Mine is spot-on !!! The hotel staff are extremely helpful and live an immaculate attitude to customer service.

Hotellino is located within short walking distance to all the tourist sites in Istanbul Old Town - Blue Mosque, Topkapi, Hagia Sofia, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, the ferry terminal to join the Bosphorus cruise. Walk a little further across the bridge and you will be near Galata Tower, Karakoy (where the Istanbul Modern Art Museum is) and Beyoglu. The hotel is also close to the Sirkeci tram station, which is very handy when you give direction to the cab drivers. There are also a lot of local eating places in Sirkeci.

The stay in Hotellino was so pleasant that when i next return to Istanbul, I'd stay in Hotellino again, and again and again .....

Room Tip: Hotellino is off the main busy streets, so the noise level is low.

We had a very pleasant short stay at Hotellino. The location is great, away from the protests in Taksim, we felt very safe in this area. Its a short walk to the Tram stop and other touristy attractions. Our room was surprisingly spacious (for European standards) and was clean. The staff were very helpful, keen to assist at all times. Definitely good value for money.

Moments away from the sites of the Old Town and tram stop at Sirkeci, this hotel made a great base for our first time in Istanbul. The owner really cares about your stay and offers guests help and advise every morning over breakfast. The rooms are stocked with 1.5 litres of water per person per day which we really appreciated, they gave us a travel pass to top up for the duration of our stay and then surprised us with complimentary Turkish coffee when we left. The only tip we have is one we had seen on trip advisor before we booked which was to request rooms away from the building work nearby. We stayed on the 4th floor in 403 with no problem. Great stay Hotellino, thank you!

I initially booked a triple room at Hotellino, in July of 2013 for a vacation in August 2013. At the last minute I had to switch to a double room and Hotellino's staff was gracious enough to do it without much hassle. The hotel is an easy walk from the Sirkeci tram station even with a lot of luggage. The location is perfect for exploring the harbour, Sirkeci and Eminonü regions on foot. The rooms, stairwells, elevators and hallways are small but clean and sophisticated. I loved the decor of the hotel overall. Old 1920s photographs of Istanbul, nearby places like Emınonü, and the harbour grace its walls. The breakfast buffet was abundant, delicious and satisfying. The hotel serves the BEST Turkish delight I tasted during my entire stay in Turkey. I would definitely at Hotellino again.

Room Tip: Try to get a room away from the road.

This hotel is in an ideal location to truly experience Istanbul. You are situated in an area of the city enabling you access to many of the sites, sounds, smells and shops that make your visit unforgettable.
Being a boutique hotel and smaller in size we were provided with personal attention that made us feel more like family rather than tourists. Mertcan at the Front Desk took the time to get to know us and went out of his way to confirm our comfort and address any questions or concerns we might have had. At the time of our departure my good-bye was shared with new found friend.
The rooms are cozy, clean, comfortable and air conditioned. From a hallway closet were encouraged to help ourselves if in need of any additional towels or supplies.
Breakfast provided a variety of options that included new and familiar tastes.
This hotel is highly recommended for anyone considering a visit to Istanbul.

I have lived in Istanbul and have traveled there numerous times. This hotel has been the best I have stayed at. The staff are supper friendly and truly caring. The owner is on top of every thing and will take care of all your need. The hotel is new, clean, and orderly. the only downside was some construction next to the hotel but with windows shut it did not interrupt our sleep.
