“Good Option for extra nights!!”
Reviewed July 11, 2013

We stayed at Osmanhan Hotel and wanted to have some extra nights but they did not have availability. They recommend us this lovely place to stay for our extra nights! I am so happy to follow up their recommendation and stay at Agora Guesthouse!
They have clean and quiet rooms! Front desk was very professional and i met with the general manager Mr.Nadir who is a very kind and friendly person. His staff Mr. Vahap used to leave in USA so, he has fluent English!
I would recommend this place who are looking for a good location, reasonable price and good people!

We stayed at Agora at the end of the day after traveling from Sofia, Bulgaria. The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed the Turkish breakfast and view from the rooftop. It was convenient to have access to wi-fi in the common area, plus there is a bookshelf. We received great assistance in finding a nearby place to stay the next night, as Agora was very busy.

We wish Vahap and his colleagues all the best.

We stayed at the Agora Guesthouse early June. It is a great location. close to all the sights. Lots of good restaurants and bars close by. It was very clean and the staff were very helpful, in particular Bob who gave us lots of tips and had a great sense of humour. The rooftop terrace was great and served a good breakfast every morning. Can highly recommend this hostel. Julie and Eugene. Australia

I stayed at this hostel for 4 nights when I arrived in Turkey! I have travelled a lot around and the world and seen a lot of hostels and this one is by far one of the best I have seen! The staff is very helpful and they speak good English, which is not always the case in Turkey! The hostel is very clean, the showers are brand new, wifi is very fast and always working, they also hav 3 laptops you can use for free! They offer free breakfast and there is a lot of options: tea coffee different fruit juices eggs breads vegetables etc! The beds are very comfortable and the dorms rooms are quite huge! The location is also very convenient, very close to all main touristical attractions.

The only thing I was a bit dissapointed with is that I tried 2 businesses that were recommended by the hostel (a restaurant called Fish restaurant and some Turkish Baths... forgot the name sorry!) and they were both overpriced and felt like tourist traps. I can guess the hostel recommends them in order to get a commission but the service received in those 2 businesses was so dissapointing, I really regretted going there! So my advice would be to go to this hostel, but do not take recommendations from them for stuff like restaurants or Turkish baths!

Enjoy your stay in Istanbul :)

Room Tip: I was in the dorm in the basement and it was perfect, there was also AC and it was close to the WC a...
