I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in October 2011 and although i arrived early, around 9:30, they already had a room available for me.
The hotel is located approx. 200m from taxim Square, where you can easily travel with the metro and then the tram to all the sights in Sultanahmet and the grand bazzar, for example. It is also located on the street parallel to Istiklal street, where there are many shops and lots of restaurants and bars to explore in the eveing.
I chose this hotel based on the location: I didn't mind travelling 15mins. or so during the day to see the sights but wanted somewhere central for the evening, so i could easily walk to the pubs or restaurants nearby.
The hotel is relatively simple and well placed in the 3 star category. The staff were very friendly and were always willing to help with questions regarding how to get to the attractions or where to eat.
I stayed in a double room, for single occupancy and although the room was rather small, it did have a good sized bathroom with a large shower. The room was also very clean and had an excellent WiFi reception, which is on offer throughout the hotel. They also provide free bottled water daily (don't drink the tap water!) and coffee/tea in your room. It can be quite noisy at night due to the surrounding bars but when in Istanbul, you shouldn't be staying in your room: You should be out enjoying the atmosphere! Regarding the breakfast, it was rather basic but if like me a bowl of cereal, some toast and a coffee and fruit juice suffice then you're well catered for.
If you are looking for a fancy hotel, with amenities then this is not for you. It's simply a nice bolt hole to rest after a longday sightseeing and some good food in the nearby restaurants.

Lies just one corner away from Istikal Cadesi in the heart of the city with excellent connections. The rooms are a bit overheated in winter (like in most of hotels of Turkey), but well-equipped and very clean. Breakfast is served until 1 pm during the week-ends, which sounds more likely a brunch than a breakfast. Service is not the best, receptionist are not flexible and some don't speak English, but this won't keep me away to return! Best value!

I staye'd there for 3nights with my friends and we had a great time.
The rooms were spacious, the decoration very nice and the most important..very clean!!
The breakfast was just ok...nothing special and not a big variety.
And as for the location?? Just a step away from Istiklal road..
I totally recommend it to everyone!!

Stayed with family for 4 days. In retrospect the area may not have been the best one for our needs, still the hotel was 1 minute away from the central Taksim square. The room was small but very practical and very recently renovated with an excellent spacious bathroom. Cleaning was thorough and very frequent. The heating was off but we requested it back on. The service was simply superb - reception staff super friendly and helpful. Do not expect Oxford English, but do expect them to bend over backwards to answer any questions and do all that's necessary for a memorable stay.
