We spent four nights in Istanbul and we very much enjoyed this hotel. It's very close to the Blue Mosque (~200 meters). Staff is amazing, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very diversified and very tasteful. The biggest drawback is the location, actually streets that lead to the hotel that are really safe but kind of dark and scary, especially if you're walking alone.

Room Tip: It's worth paying a bit extra for a standard double room because you can end up having budget double room in the basement.

I have been visiting Istanbul from time to time,, and I have always chosen tulip house.
you get the best service, you feel like home.
I truly appreciated their help in any matter, the rooms are great,, especially the ones with sea view.
The breakfast was full of variety.
Internet connections is for free.
It is in one of the best locatins in Istanbul.
If i go to istanbul i would visit them again.

We stayed in Tulip House for five nights and felt very well. Rooms are clean, breakfast excellent and very friendly staff. This small house is located in the old town of Istanbul next to the sightseeing-highlights as Haghia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Grand Basar.

We stay at Tulip house during one week in august with our 6 years-old daughter and our stay was perfect : the rooms are clean and comfortable (we had a really nice view on Bospherus!), the neighbourhood is authentic and very close to Blue Mosque, and the staff is very pleasant. The owner - Emrah - and his team gave us a lot of good advice for our trip in Istanbul and Turkey and were always smiling and available. And the breakfast on the nice terrace was everyday a good start of our long walking day in Istanbul streets !! Enjoy !

Room Tip: If possible, ask for the rooms with view on Bospherus.
