I booked a "budget single" room and was pleasantly surprised by the amenities rarely offered at a price point comparable to the cost of a bed in a hostel dorm room. The room and bath were spotless. There was a hairdrier and toiletries in the bathroom. The heater could be turned up, down or off. The window to the street opened and closed. There was reliable WIFI and a flat screen TV with remote in the room. Yes, the room was small and dated but perfectly adequate. I appreciated the comfortable double bed and reading lamp. My only concerns were the noise from the dining room (easily muffled with basic earplugs) and a nasty smell coming from the floor drain in the bathroom (easily blocked with a paperback book).
