My husband and I went on the Turkish Flavours market tour today and loved it. The guide, Ms Tacsier was very warm and helpful and spoke great English. She took us through two markets, one on the European and one on the Asian side of Istanbul and introduced our small group to a host of new ingredients, flavours and products. The tour culminated in an incredible traditional Turkish banquet at a famous Istanbul restaurant - we ate and had explained to us over 22 different and delicious dishes. We would definitely recommend this tour - it's a fantastic way to see Istanbul and eat amazing Turkish food.

Our group had an excellent time on the tour starting in the spice market and ending in Karikoy. Our guide was terrific, and we noshed our way through two markets before having an amazing lunch. Loved it, worth every penny.

We signed up for Selin's cooking class based on our neighbor's rave reviews, and the experience lived up to the billing. Selin was a great guide to the otherwise overwhelming Spice Bazaar; because it was a Monday, we got an added bonus of a visit to the once a week farmer's market as well. Selin's dishes were delicious, authentic, and not difficult to recreate at home. The class also afforded the wonderful opportunity to spend time in a Turkish home in a residential area on the non-touristy Asian side of Istanbul. Once the cooking was done, we were able to learn over lunch much about Turkish life and culture. Selin was a most charming and informative guide, teacher and host. Highly recommended!

Thank you for opening your home, Selin, to us in your cooking class in September. We were inspired by your hospitality, excitement of food and your beautiful home. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a unique experience in a bustling city.

We have just come back from this tour with Evrim and are too full to eat tonight!!! It was a great way to start our holiday in Turkey as Evrim was a terrific guide and the Spice Market was a highlight and our wonderful 20+ dishes for lunch were amazing. We had heaps of samples along the way and a trip across the Bosphorus.
If the rest of our Turkey holiday is nearly as good as this we will be very happy.
