“Spice Market Tour and Lunch”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

It was just my wife and I with Taciser for a spectacular day at the Spice market, ferry ride and lunch at Ciya. We tasted an amazing variety of Turkish flavors. We would recommend this excursion to anyone who wants a special glimpse of Turkish cuisine. Our guide was great and her enthusiasm made this event over the top.

“Cooking Class”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

Our group of six completely enjoyed the cooking class experience! It was a very informative, relaxing class where everyone participates. The best part was the beautifully set table to sit together with a glass of wine and enjoy the food we had all created together. Thank you Selin for a wonderful morning of chopping, stuffing, cooking, and eating! Cyndy (Sheryl's group)

“Two Great Days of Tasting and Cooking!”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

We had an amazing two days with this company! First, was a day of tasting which far exceeded our expectations and was way worth the money! Tour guide very knowledgeable and so much fun trying wonderful food at local vendors.
The second day, my husband and I had a cooking class in the home of the owner. She was amazing and so great to be in such a relaxed atmosphere. I love cooking and my husband enjoys eating and we both loved the day! Cooking was made easy and great for any age! Can't wait to come back and do the cooking and tasting again!!!! The Middletons

“Walking food tour with Taciser!”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

A great day out with Taciser. Spice market stalls, tastings, a ferry ride to more tastings and information followed by fantastic lunch. Great conversation and information to all our questions... A must for those who enjoy great food. We were so glad to have been able to join friends on your tour.

“Selin's wonderful Turkish Flavours!”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

Thank you, Selin for a wonderful day! We were 2 families with 2 teens each....boys and girls aged 13 and 15. Our morning began at the Egyptian Market where we were educated about the various spices, fruits, nuts and other delights used in Turkish cooking. Having a spice tasting was a flavorful experience, and certainly opened up our children's taste buds to new tastes! Then it was off to Selin's beautiful home for the cooking! We had asked for a lamb dish to be incorporated in the menu, and she also chose foods that the kids would enjoy. We all chopped, peeled, cored, stuffed, stirred, rolled, tasted delicious sauces, spices, pickles and cheeses. The kids were completely entertained. Once everything was cooked, we sat down to enjoy the feast....to see my kids eating vegetables with enjoyment was just great! Selin is a patient, gracious lady, a wonderful cook, and has a lovely sense of humor. We left completely satisfied, dispensed with supper, and headed straight back to the Spice market to buy some of the spices....neatly vacuum packed and in my suitcase. We highly recommend some time with Selin if you enjoy food, want to learn to cook, can cook...thanks again. From Gie family of Cape Town, South Africa.

Thank Susan G
