Hotel had perfect location. Very clean and very beautiful. The staff was incredible. Yasmin and all her hotel staff went out of thier way to make everything perfect. The roof terrace for breakfast was a great view of the old city. The experience was perfect. I would return there any time I could get the chance.

Room Tip: The 5th floor facing the Blue Mosque was perfect.

We reached late at night because of a delayed flight and the front desk manager was waiting for us with a smile. We were quickly shown to our rooms so we could rest. Room was cozy and although it is next to a railway track, with the windows shut, it hardly makes a rumble. The ambience is nice and bathroom with all the necessary amenities (including shaving, dental kits). I asked for an adaptor for charging our cameras and it was sent immediately.

Next morning, we had breakfast on the terrace - what a place! The hotel's terrace is at an ideal vantage point with a view of the Bosphorus on one side and the Blue mosque on other! Keeping us company were seagulls and chirping sparrows, enough to keep my son occupied. The breakfast itself is ample with Continental spread and fresh fruits.

After breakfast, we just ambled down to the Hagia Sophia square from where we took the tours to all the tourist attractions in Istanbul. We even walked to the Hodja Pasha cultural centre for the Sema ceremony (Whirling Dervishes). All the major attractions are a walk away - and with my ten year old son in tow, it was all the more important for me.

Right from the time we checked in till checkout, we basked in the warmth of the staff. We couldn't fault the hotel and will be back next time too.

Room Tip: Try to choose rooms on higher floor with Bosphorus or Blue Mosque views.

My husband and I so enjoyed our stay here. This was our first stop in Turkey, and we were so pleasantly welcomed that it really started our holiday off well. The room was incredibly comfortable. I was taken by the modern bathroom, with a very nice shower, the hardwood floors, high ceilings an crown moulding. I was surprised as well that we could see the river out of our window! Our room was larger than average, and had a small love seat and separate upholstered chair by the windows. We didn't watch much television, but when we did the picture (on the English channels) was clear. The breakfast was really, really nice. We had beautiful weather and really enjoyed the terrace with all of its fresh air and amazing views. We alternated mornings sitting on the side with the *best* view of the Blue Mosque and the side on the river. The breakfast included fresh bread, jams, lots of dry and fresh fruit, yogurt, coffees, juices, cereal/ muesli, eggs, french fries, fresh cheeses, tomatoes and cucumbers and on and on. Breakfast was our favorite meal whilst in Istanbul!

The hotel is so well located. It is maybe a 4 minute walk to the tram stop, and 2 minutes to the Blue Mosque. The staff were fantastic and helpful. We very thoroughly recommend!

I had to host a couple in Istanbul, who came from abroad. I got a room booked at Ferman hotel for them. I could not stay in the same hotel as it was fully booked. My guests had a wonderful experience of their stay in this hotel. The behavior of the staff at reception, bell boy and the waiters serving the breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious and clean and breakfast was served at terrace (roof top) which gave an excellent view of Bosphoros river. The location of hotel is excellent for the tourists as all the historical places are less than 5 mins walk from the hotel. Our flight got delayed so when we asked mr Cinan (receptionist) for a late check out, he very graciously allowed the couple to stay in the room for couple of hours more. The guests departed with excellent memories of their visit to Istanbul and a wonderful stay. Ferman hotel will be my obvious choice on my next trip to Istanbul.

Room Tip: they stay in room no 101 which had a small terrace where the gentleman could go and smoke, take tea...

My husband and I went to Istanbul with a group of friends and we could not fault the staff at this hotel. They were extremely helpful as well as being friendly and smiling all the time! The hotel is very well located in a quiet street near the Blue Mosque and has a lovely rooftop terrace restaruant overlooking the Blue Mosque on one side and the Bosphorus on the other. We saw dolphins swimming every day. The room was capacious and very clean and unlike a lot of hotels the bed was extremely comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel.

Had a fantastic time and this was a perfect choice. We made good use of the roof terace.
best location for a short trip as prime location for sites.
One minus was the room we were placed in did have a train track outside so would not recommend this for light sleeper's .We only stayed 2 night's or this would have been a problem for us for any longer stay.
Staff were excellent.
Also had no issues with the transport we organised yes they have a different approach and we did have to wait for 20min's after landing but this was not an issue for us.

Room Tip: If a light sleeper check if your room is next to the train track's.
