“Good hotel to stay for business on Asian side”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 18, 2014 via mobile

Hotel was reasonably priced with breakfast included. Room was fine. Staff at times seem bored and could be a bit more friendlier. Ate out most nights in Baghdad caddesi which is about a 15 min walk away. Bostanci is a fairly quiet area. If you want a more livelier area try Kadacoy.

This place offer a good alternative to the over crowded Sultan ahmet (known as the tourist hell).. area. This hotel offers a different side of Istanbul, a walking distance from the trendiest Baghdad caddesi and a fifteen minutes boat trip from Kadikoy to the main tourist attractions……
nice buffet breakfast and very friendly staff!

Room Tip: ask for the top floors rooms, breakfast served on the top floor with great views of the Buyuk addasi...

Stayed here, didnt find it that great. I think they need new staff as they a little slow. Also the place needs a new modern make over. If they did this i think it could be much better. I dont think its a 4 star. Maybe knce they fix the place and the noise in the rooms perhaps. The kitchen staff seem to be okay. Food is quite good however, difderent chefs seem to do different jobs. Some days its good some not to great. The hotel needs a new make over and the staff need to lear etiquete. Very important as they the look of the hotel. Some staff seem ylto go out there way. Others well, i would have fired by now.

Honest i think there are better options. Quite a pitty as itw in a good location. Management really needs to take some tlc to the building and revamp. As this place is starting to fall apart. Has so much potential. What a pitty.

Advise rather look around there are better options on the asia side.

Positive feedback, the manager is quite organised however he needs to check his staff properly especially manners and etiquete needs to happen fast.

Hotel is OK but is showing its age and needs to be updated. Location is OK, a 15 minute walk down to the seaside but not much in the area for sightseeing. It is on a very busy sidestreet and noise is an issue. Rooms are comfortable and clean; staff is helpful and courteous. Breakfast was good and plentiful. There are many hotel choices here, so I would not necessarily recommend this one.

Jacuzzi bath, excellent shower fixture, plus a good range of toiletries, bathroom/toilet impeccably clean. There was an enormous choice of Turkish style food for breakfast, with wonderful views from the restaurant across to the sea and islands. Not a very attracive area - funfair near hotel - area seems to be more for Turkish family hoildays, so good choice of fast-food kiosks and traditional Turkish restaurants. Not a great night's sleep though - walls too thin between bedrooms where you could hear your neighbours' voices - beds narrow and rather hard - max 3 in small lift. On Asian side, so necessity to take boats to Istanbul centre. Asked to change room (because of noisy neighbours) but was given a Smoking one. Alright for a couple of nights - but no longer than that - still good value though.

Room Tip: Choose a room with views towards the sea - and for non-smokers, make sure it is a non-smoking room...
