We stayed here three nights as part of a tour group. It is only a few blocks from Taksim square. Walking there, you will encounter some very aggressive cafe owners wanting you to eat at their place even if you tell them you already ate. The hotel itself has a very good breakfast buffet. The room and bathroom sizes are bigger than most European hotels. English was spoken by front desk staff but not so much by everyone else. The temperature in Istanbul was in the low '70s so I don't know how well the air conditioning units work. We had no view from our windows other than facing a wall, a minor disappointment.

My wife and I recently stayed in two hotels in Istanbul - a small boutique hotel in the heart of the old city (Sultanahmet) and then the Titanic City Hotel in near Taksim Square. This gave us an immediate context for comparing the Titanic to other hotels.

Overall, the room in the Titanic was nicer - size, bathroom, amenities. AND we paid less for it than than in Sultanahmet. On first impression, we were more impressed with the Titanic.

However, it quickly became obvious that this is a hotel MAINLY for tour groups. What that means is that the staff are not overly warm or friendly to individual travelers. We got nowhere near the attention at the Titanic that we got at the boutique hotel.

In addition, the hotel is much further from most sights that you will want to visit, though it is not far from the metro (which is a plus). If you want to be in Beyoglu, it's a great place to stay.

Just be aware that many tour groups will be coming and going daily. If you are traveling alone, you will get a good room for your money, but just not great service. We had friends on a tour (that's why we booked the hotel) and observed that our own room (booked privately) was bigger and nicer than their tour group-booked room.

Titanic City Taksim is now one of my favorite hotels. The only possible reason I can think of that it's not rated much higher on TripAdvisor is that it must not be well-known among readers and reviewers here. It is a beautiful, modern hotel in a great location in Taksim—convenient to Istiklal nightlife, Gesi park, and all of Beyoglu. The room was luxurious and more than a great value (under 100 euros a night) with robes, slippers, spa-like bathroom, and beautiful appointments. Staff was always friendly, helpful, efficient and determined to provide an excellent guest experience. (A letter delivered to the room from the General Manager charmingly described their "struggle for perfection"; it's no struggle at all—it comes naturally.) The in-house spa is free for guests and should not be missed; it's a wonderful way to wind-down after a long day of sightseeing. I cannot recommend Titantic City Taksim highly enough. Stay there!

Stayed 1 night at the Titanic City Hotel. It was very clean, large room and bathroom, very modern, friendly staff. Many restaurants and shopping in the area. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is very well located in the Taksim area. Taksim is touristic area but also commercial, I prefer to stay in Taksim than Sultanahmed. And it's only 10 min from there.
The breakfast is also good, they change some options every day, which means you always find something new. Also it's very clean and they have a good spa and fitness center.
Also the bed was very comfortable!

Room Tip: Unfortunately I stayed in a room with a view direct for another window. Request one with a nice view...

All staff are very very helpful. All speaks English .
the location is excellent with cafes restaurants around,
rooms are well furnished and kept clean.
the hotel has good swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. (but the Jacuzzi was not warm as desired).
the down side is the small corridors, noise coming from corridors and neighboring rooms.

I spent just 4 days at this hotel, I was giving a lecture. This is a very new hotel, a great range of food, especially breakfast and lunch, lots of fresh fruit, staff were most helpful. The rooms were well furnished.

Room Tip: As this is just a new hotel outside of the city of Instanbul, the outlook is not great because you a...
