I stayed at this hotel with a group and it was very nice. The hotel's beds were comfortable, the bathroom was very nice, the service was great, and it was very close to Taksim Square. There are many places to eat nearby and tons of shopping. The pool was small and the hot tub wasn't very hot. The spa looked nice but I didn't use the services. The prices seemed very high for the treatments. There was a breakfast included in the stay, which had a variety of food that was good. The hotel is a little drive from the airport, spice market, the Grand Bazaar, and many other must sees in Istanbul. It is very close to the soccer arena. We were there when the protests were going on this summer and I felt very safe. I did go down to the square to see the protests but it is peaceful except when the police decide to show some force then it becomes violent, well violent on the police side. They drove water tanks, tear gas, rubber bullets up and down the streets to control the crowd that didn't really need to be controlled. I found it exciting to be a part of since we really never experience that in the US. Overall, the hotel was a wonderful place to stay.
