The hotel was very close to Taksim Square, which I didn't venture to, because of the protests at that time. The rooms were good size, but provided very little reading light, even with every available light turned on. Staff was very friendly.
Computers were available for guest use on the top floor and on one floor below reception, and worked well.
Breakfast was good, and eggs made to order were available on two of the three days I stayed there. There were a couple convenience stores across the small street for getting water and snacks. Someone in the group also exchanged money at a place across the street.
